So, the best tweet of the day, going into that break, our buddy Ryan Glasspeagle, he's out there in Chicago, I think is where he lives. In any event, he wrote, I can't imagine a world where my wife is anxious about making sure our guests can watch out-of-market NFL games. I'm sick of the Kelsey commercials too, Ryan. That's a good line, though.

I get a little heart for me. There you go.

Chris McMonigle (0:26)

It doesn't really appeal to the active person in that commercial. They're all coming over and they want to watch different games.

Craig Carton (0:33)

Yeah, like you've ever had 15 people over your ass to watch out-of-market NFL games, or bought a six-foot sub.

Chris McMonigle (0:41)

He's making cupcakes.

Craig Carton (0:42)

Yeah. Look, you know there's some people like in sports, you get tag, maybe because we have Red Zone, or you have DirecTV, or whatever.

Chris McMonigle (0:48)

Or the saturation of someone, of course.

Craig Carton (0:49)

It's like, my goodness, enough. Make it stop, please. I'm begging you.

Chris McMonigle (0:54)

Is this about, like, Kelsey and the Kansas City fans?

Craig Carton (0:57)

No, no, no, no. It's about the Kelsey family. I don't like their mother.

That's how sick of the Kelsey family I am. The only Kelsey I like is the father, because he's like, leave me alone. I just want to, like, smoke a cigar, have a beer, watch football, and be left alone.

Chris McMonigle (1:12)

I have to admit that, speaking about commercials, I do have to admit I do get a kick out of Andy Reid.

Craig Carton (1:20)

Puffin and Puffin and the State Farm, I'll say whatever is commercial. He does a pretty good job.

Chris McMonigle (1:26)

He does pretty good. I like him.

Craig Carton (1:27)

But you know what? Two more weeks. Sick of it. Two more weeks, you'll be like, I'm so sick of Andy Reid, his fat ass, trying to climb with that fake family is.

I watch too much football, man.

Chris McMonigle (1:40)

Yeah, we watch too much football.

Craig Carton (1:41)

I watch too much football for sure.

Chris McMonigle (1:43)

Yeah, let's get some calls. Too much giant offense yesterday.

Again, I want to make it clear, Jameis Winston did do enough to win the game, and I'm not saying, because a lot of people, the elements, he's not the reason that the offense was completely inept, completely. There's some real question marks about how they've operated inside the red zone, like some of the play calling inside the red zone.

Craig Carton (2:01)

Well, some of the penalties also, though.

Chris McMonigle (2:02)

Penalties, bad penalties, play calling inside the red zone.

Why Cam decided to run backwards running, they should have never put him in the Wildcat, but why on first and five they give him the Wildcat, I don't know, but he shouldn't run, Scadaboo maybe shouldn't run 10 yards backwards. There was a lot of issues with why the offense...

Craig Carton (2:19)

I thought he was trying to throw the ball, to be honest.

Chris McMonigle (2:21)

I thought he was going to throw it away.

Craig Carton (2:23)

It looked like he was trying to get the grip to throw it, but there was no wider seats. I have no idea. It's almost like he's like, oh shoot, I'm screwed, let me just throw it, but...

Chris McMonigle (2:31)

I want to make it clear, he's not the reason, the sole reason this offense couldn't get in the end zone and he was forced to kick four field goals yesterday, but if you watch them play, I think the Giants are clearly... I don't know if he played the way they thought he would play, I don't think they make this trade. I think this trade is really based off of what we've seen.

Craig Carton (2:49)

I think they would have made an acquisition.

Chris McMonigle (2:51)

No, they would have brought in a quarterback. I don't think there's any doubt. Bringing in JJ McCARTHY and giving up a fifth round pick is in direct response to how bad Jameis Winston is.

Craig Carton (3:00)

Yeah, they're going to deny that. They've already denied that to Jordan Schultz. I saw his report, but they're lying to you.

Because they saw what we saw. You could write off last week, unexpected gets forced into the game, maybe not as prepared as he should be, which is unacceptable, but I think we can write that one off. But yesterday, even if I want to give the Titans defense some credit because Sal is a really good defensive coach and the elements, Jameis Winston didn't look any better. The second thing you learn about the Johns offense, for me at least, is as good as Scadaboo is, Scadaboo cannot be a 20-carrier game guy because of his style of running. And he's great, don't get me wrong. But Scadaboo can't be a workhorse running back where he's getting the ball every single down. That's why he got Nadji Harris when he had a couple of carries. That's why you have Tracy, obviously.
