Welcome to Giants Station, I'm your host, Bobby Skinner, here with my co-host, the Football Grump, and we've got another great preview podcast for you. We've got the Giants at the Washington Commanders, Week 5, the 3-1 first place New York Giants travel to Landover, and some Hurricane Isaias left over. So we're going to get another weather game for James. He'll never throw a dry ball ever, to face the 1-3 Washington Commanders, and Jaden Daniels return to the lineup. The Giants have historically cleaned up in this series, but the Commanders have won four straight against the New York Giants, and we're recording this right before Thursday Night Football. The 2-2 Cowboys play the Tampa Bay Bucks, and I don't know the result of that. Unfortunately, I think the result will be Dallas winning. And then the Eagles play in London.

There's a chance the Giants could be up a game and a half before kickoff even starts. So I'm excited for it. Giants football is back. We're having fun. And the preview pods, they're in depth, and they're good, bro.

I'm doing great, dude. This is awesome. The Giants are 3-1. This is kind of what we hoped before the season started. Took a serious left turn off a cliff week two, but we're right where we want to be. Going into a division game, those are always super exciting. A little disappointed on what the weather might be.

Hopefully it won't be, definitely will be. But regardless, I mean, like you said, the Dallas playing tonight, Thursday night games, always weird. Should they win? Yes. Will they?

Eagles playing in London, always weird playing in London. Should they win?

I don't know.

So yeah, the Giants are real.

Honestly, they suck. But we need one Daniels brother to win this week, Jaylen. Jaylen is going to win. Jayden is going to lose.

When I ask you this before we dive into this, going, no looking back at it. When you said, all right, it's time to record the preview pod for the Titans game, the Cardinals game, the Commander's game. Which game would you say would be the most challenging?

So you have done all your research on this team, not just like preconceived notions. You're ready to record the preview pod, and how do you feel about the Giants match up with that team? Which one would you say is the most challenging of the three?

I would say it's this one, the Commanders.

I really do.

We'll start with the Commanders defense, but you look at the numbers on paper and it's really bad. I think they are a challenging defense to play. Then you're watching like, oh yeah, this looks like a Brian Flores defense, and the defense coordinator comes from Brian Flores. You'll be glad you did. So we are going to start with the Giants offense versus the commander's defense. Like I said, on paper, they're a 30th in scoring defense. But they're giving up more than 30 points per game. And we've played some bad commander's defense. They're like, man, this is the game where our offense looks really good. They're 19th in EPA per play. And that wasn't why I was like, oh, they're actually more challenging.
