Hi, Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile. Are you looking for a beach read this summer? May I suggest your big wireless bill?

It's got suspense, mystery, a slightly flat emotional arc, and a shocking twist where you realize you've been overpaying the entire time.
**Shawn Siegele** (0:13)
Fortunately, though, Mint's story is better.
**SPEAKER_2** (0:14)

Drafting in the FFPC Pros vs. Joes Contest. That's what we're doing today on Stealing Bananas. I'm Ben Gretch. You can find the Stealing Signals newsletter at bengretch.substack.com. With me as always is Shawn Siegel. You can find all of his great work over at RotoViz. Shawn, a 20 round, single QB, best ball, total points format. It's not, you know, a fantasy playoff back end, worry about the week 17 matchups type thing. It is a total points format. We drew the 102 this year. We do the pros vs. joes every year. Big shout out to Fancy Mojo for putting it on, organizing it.
It's always a very fun one to do.
Yeah, we are going to be kicking it off here with a pick. As Jameer Gibbs just went one on one, we are on the clock.
**Shawn Siegele** (1:39)
Well, it's your preference here. We haven't drafted a lot of Jamar Chase. We have him projected for slightly more points than Bijan Robinson. It might be fun to get a wide receiver themed team going, but obviously I'm very happy with Bijan Robinson as well.
**Ben Gretch** (1:59)
I think it's a little more difficult. I mean, I'm happy to do the wide receiver theme. I actually have Puka projected for even more than Chase.
I'm not dying to take Robinson, but I don't mind him, and I think it's easier to build with a running back. But yeah, all three of those guys are fine.
**Shawn Siegele** (2:20)
It is easier to build with a running back. It sounded like, well, you weren't dying to take Robinson. You were also not dying to take either of the receivers. So we'll go ahead and get the running back.
**Ben Gretch** (2:29)
They're better picks. Yeah, so we take Bijan there. They're better picks than a vacuum. It's just not a vacuum, basically. It gets a little bit tricky starting down the other path. Bijan Robinson, obviously, not a bad consolation prize is a pick by any means.
Would you have preferred Chase or just... I'm thinking structurally the ways that we've had to navigate some of the early rounds and prefer running back to receiver in the third, the fourth, the fifth because of how it can really run out.
**SPEAKER_2** (3:05)
Yeah. What do you think?
**Shawn Siegele** (3:06)
I was kind of thinking about this as a draft that we could play around with a bit and...
**Ben Gretch** (3:15)
When are you not thinking that way?
**Shawn Siegele** (3:20)
But I like to do fun things with the drafts.
That's a good point. You can always play around with the draft. That's what you should do.
**SPEAKER_2** (3:27)
Yeah.
**Ben Gretch** (3:29)
I mean, I love it.
**Shawn Siegele** (3:29)
I love it.
**Ben Gretch** (3:30)
Yeah. I would have definitely been over to that. We had not really talked yet. To the listeners, I'm going to give a quick apology. I have been traveling for the last several days. Went to Canton, Ohio for the Fancy Football Expo for a couple of days. Got to see a bunch of people in the industry. That was awesome to see, including a few people in this draft this year. And then continued on to New York to visit a buddy, a few buddies that I had not seen in a little while. One moved there a couple of years ago. Hadn't gone and visited him. Stayed with a friend for a few days. Did some walking. Shawn, you once lived in New York and we talked a little and you told me it's a city you end up walking a lot. I walked quite a lot of steps. Quite a lot of steps the last few days. We just mostly did some different neighborhoods and different things. Not a whole lot of sightseeing, just kind of living in the city, which was a really fun trip. I really enjoyed it. But yeah, woke up early this morning to fly back across the country.
