Hila Klein (0:04)
Hello, everybody.
Ethan Klein (0:05)
I'm not used to the camera being in the middle. We're together again.
Nate (0:07)
Hello, everybody. Welcome.
Ethan Klein (0:17)
We're doing Oktoberfest. Wait, are we?
It is September, of course. Martin's here, by the way.
Martin (0:23)
So the official...
Ethan Klein (0:26)
Yeah, Martin's here.
Martin (0:28)
The official Oktoberfest will start tomorrow.
Nate (0:30)
Oktoberfest.
Martin (0:32)
So it's always the last week in September.
Nate (0:33)
Can they call it Septemberfest?
Martin (0:35)
No, because it runs into the October. And you know we Germans are very efficient.
Ethan Klein (0:39)
Yeah.
Martin (0:39)
So therefore, we create a little bit earlier.
Ethan Klein (0:41)
A month of drinking, of alcoholism.
Martin (0:42)
And it goes into the first week of October.
Zach (0:44)
Better be early than late.
Ethan Klein (0:46)
Once you have a beer, it's Oktoberfest. Not my life. Sorry, what's that?
Maggie (0:51)
Once you have a beer, it's Oktoberfest.
Ethan Klein (0:53)
Once you have a beer, it's Oktoberfest.
Hila Klein (0:54)
That's right. Perfect.
Ethan Klein (0:57)
I don't know, if you all remember last year, Chef Bernard is with us. He can be... What are we doing this year, Chef?
Chef Bernard (1:07)
Based on last year, where I did way too much work, I will definitely put you guys to work.
Hila Klein (1:11)
You're putting us to work.
Chef Bernard (1:12)
And Martin, we're going to test that efficiency.
Martin (1:15)
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
Hila Klein (1:17)
Put it to work.
Chef Bernard (1:18)
I question it.
Ethan Klein (1:19)
And we got something else on the menu. We're not doing schnitzel this year.
Chef Bernard (1:22)
We're not doing schnitzel. I heard my Swedish counterpart is in Sweden. So, you know, we can't do a schnitzel competition. So we're skipping that.
Ethan Klein (1:30)
Okay.
Hila Klein (1:31)
Well, I'm excited to try something else.
Chef Bernard (1:32)
We're doing something that's even harder to pronounce for you guys.
Ethan Klein (1:35)
Say it.
Chef Bernard (1:35)
Käse-spätzle.
Ethan Klein (1:36)
That's easy.
Chef Bernard (1:37)
Great.
Ethan Klein (1:38)
Käse-spätzle.
Chef Bernard (1:39)
There you go.
SPEAKER_9 (1:39)
Hey.
Chef Bernard (1:41)
Say it again. Käse-spätzle.
Ethan Klein (1:42)
Käser.
Chef Bernard (1:43)
Käser.
Ethan Klein (1:44)
Käsen.
Chef Bernard (1:45)
Spätzle.
Ethan Klein (1:46)
Käsen-spätzle. There you go.
Chef Bernard (1:48)
Pretty good. Pretty good.
Ethan Klein (1:49)
And I don't know, and who do we have here joining you, Martin?
Martin (1:53)
I brought my very close friend, Maggie. We know each other.
Ethan Klein (1:56)
Maggie.
Maggie (1:57)
Hi. Yeah, like a kind of dog name. You know, those golden dogs, Maggie.
Martin (2:02)
But she's not my dog, obviously.
Ethan Klein (2:03)
Yes. Yes.
Maggie (2:04)
We haven't talked about that.
Hila Klein (2:05)
Okay, that's fine.
Martin (2:07)
I'll put you on a leash later on.
Maggie (2:08)
Don't worry.
Ethan Klein (2:08)
No.
Maggie (2:08)
Yeah, we both met pretty much at the same time when we moved to America.
Ethan Klein (2:11)
Okay.
Martin (2:12)
So German.
Maggie (2:12)
I'm always thirsty. He always has something to drink, so the friendship was born.
Martin (2:18)
Hydrating is important.
Ethan Klein (2:19)
It sure is, Martin. It sure is. So we have all of our German friends here, and I don't know if you guys know anything about the stag calling. You guys know about the stag calling that happens in Germany?
Lena (2:28)
I've heard about it.
Ethan Klein (2:29)
Yeah. I'm quite good at it. I'm traveling. I'm just, since I have authentic Germans here, I know Dan likes when I do this, and I have a more, a great opportunity to do it since, so you guys go ahead and I'm gonna do a staghorn to start Octoberfest off.
Thank you to Pricefix. You could just say it. Dan's whispering to me. Dan goes, Did you think this was possible? But you could just say it. It's okay. Thank you to Pricefix, by the way, for sponsoring us today.
All right. So here we go. I mean, this, you know.
Zach (3:17)
It's interesting to see it up close.
Martin (3:18)
You're gonna win, Ethan. You're gonna win.
Ethan Klein (3:27)
They say it makes the best sound when you spit and gag on it.
Lena (3:31)
Do?
SPEAKER_11 (3:33)
What the?
Hila Klein (3:34)
Can I ask how you trained for this?
Ethan Klein (3:36)
Do you know what?
SPEAKER_11 (3:37)
It came naturally to me.
Ethan Klein (3:38)
It really did. It really did.
So anyway, Martin is taking me to Germany.
Hila Klein (3:48)
Yes, in February.
Zach (3:49)
What do you think?
