Geno Smith, according to Connor Hughes, is going to be starting tomorrow night against the Steelers.
Series, maybe two series. He's got to start before they start the season. I would have started him last week. I said that on the show, because I need to see the ones out there. I don't care if it's for five snaps or 10 snaps or in that area, but Geno Smith has to be behind center before it counts for real against the Titans, you know, in a couple of weeks. So, Connor Hughes reported that first, I believe. So, I think that's a smart move. He's got to play. Got to play.

I think it's a good thing, because it's the only thing that between the two teams that I needed to see was Geno Smith play.

Meaning, like, what we saw, the only thing missing for me was Geno Smith playing for the Jets because everything else was very positive.

They are raving about Braylon Allen, too. Raving about how big a role Braylon Allen's going to have against the Brees Hall or in for Brees Hall when this offense takes the field against the Titans this year.

I get the concept of it's hot, we're grown men, we're frustrated, so we're allowed to punch each other and fight, and you don't go to prison for it or get arrested for it. But I honestly never quite understood guys in helmets throwing haymakers at each other. I also, to be fair, don't understand when, if you've got like 30 guys in a scrum and most of those guys have football helmets on, what kind of dumbass takes his helmet off? Because that's the first guy I'm swinging at, right?

You can't take your helmet off, but there's always that one moron who in a scrum of guys, big guys fighting, throwing haymakers, thinks he's a tough guy and takes off his helmet. Like, I'm guessing, if I was ever in a scrum like that, everybody else would say, hold on, time out.
Jackass took off his helmet. Let's just go punch that guy in the face, right? So anyway, Abdu Carter, I guess, was at the center of it. He threw a punch at an offensive lineman on the Dolphins, but missed and then all hell broke loose. After Abdu Carter threw a punch, it missed.

No, but hopefully he has a better second season too.
But I could justify swinging at someone at a rage and hitting their helmet because you're just in the heat of the moment. But the thought to take the helmet off, I get maybe it gives you a better field of view, but no one's punching through your face mask.

No, like the thing that protects you in a fight, like there's guys that I would never fight if it was one-on-one, no helmet on. But there's nobody I wouldn't fight if I've got a football helmet on, especially if I've got a visor on. Like you can't hurt me.
