SPEAKER_4 (0:31)

Good morning, Sumo, do you know what Sumo like?

Izzy Dagg (0:34)

Since, who was it? Oh, Mullins from the Taniwha just said I was breathing down his neck. I've been really cautious now breathing into the mic.

Ruth Croft (0:44)

James Mullins.

Izzy Dagg (0:45)

James Mullins, yeah, is it that loud?

Scotty Stevenson (0:50)

No, it was loud, yes, today.

Izzy Dagg (0:51)

Yeah, I don't know, but now I'm starting to question my ability to do my show.

Scotty Stevenson (0:56)

Just keep breathing.

Izzy Dagg (0:57)

I'm really cautious of going in and out, so today I don't wear a jersey, because Sammy ripped me apart for doing up my zip.

Scotty Stevenson (1:04)

You've got your Hawks Bay Magpies jersey on.

Izzy Dagg (1:06)

I just thought I'd bring it back. I think it's only fitting today, because we're going to be talking a little bit more about the MPC, because I don't want it to end. It's going to end this weekend when Northland do what everyone's hoping and win the title. But we're going to do a bit of a reflection, aren't we?

Scotty Stevenson (1:23)

I thought we might today.

I thought we might, because we love the MPC. We've told you that numerous times, this year, last year, the year before, the year before that. And we're going to tell you again today. TJ and Rick are in between 9 and 12 Staffy between 12 and 3 Millsie and Guy on the run home tonight between 3 and 6 The Rugby League World Cup show with Sammy Ackerman and Mitch James, 6 to 7 tonight, followed by the fast break, 7 to 8 She's a bumper old day on radio.

Izzy Dagg (1:51)

How good, eh? Sammy loves it. What have you got on the show, Sammy?

Scotty Stevenson (1:54)

Sammy does love.

SPEAKER_4 (1:56)

What have you got?

Izzy Dagg (1:56)

A bit of a finals countdown. You obviously get team lifts Tuesday.

SPEAKER_4 (2:00)

He's not saying anything.

Scotty Stevenson (2:02)

He's saving it all for tonight.

Sammy Ackerman (2:04)

Just me talking league for now, so it's much like the first year of this show.

Scotty Stevenson (2:10)

Correct. Coming up today, Paul, Muari will join us as always. Maya Joseph out of the Black Ferns on that 81-12 win over France. They've got a game in Whangare this Saturday. Going up, actually.

Are you? Yeah. Going up to watch the game.

Olly Ryan (2:25)

Oh, yes.

Scotty Stevenson (2:26)

Can't wait.

Izzy Dagg (2:27)

Um, are you going to stay there for the weekend?

Scotty Stevenson (2:29)

Ah, well, there might be a night. Might be a night at Mama George, you never know.

Izzy Dagg (2:33)

I was thinking, are you going to stay there for the weekend? Games not till Monday. What I was thinking is surely Taniwha is up there, going to open up 7 1 2 stadium, have the big screen on, you know, bring all the fans to the park and watch the game together.

Scotty Stevenson (2:46)

Oh, what an idea.

Izzy Dagg (2:47)

What an idea that would be.

Scotty Stevenson (2:48)

Oh, just packing to the Kensington Tavern and every man and woman for themselves.

Izzy Dagg (2:53)

How good. Get a big screen somewhere in Whangarei.

Scotty Stevenson (2:55)

Children in the cars with the windows cracked. Olly Ryan's going to join us at another Taniwha at eight o'clock today. Ronald Mulutalo, Kiwi's winger at 8.10. Bill Tuiloma from the Wellington Phoenix will join us at 8.20. Bevan Jacobs out of the Blackcaps, 8.35. Tapia Selby-Rickett at 8.49. 8.49, specifically. It is a big old show today, so stick with us, team, if you can. Meanwhile, here's the noise overnight. All Blacks Leroy Carter has had to have surgery for that ankle injury he sustained in the bled, and he will miss the rest of the year, including the Nations Championship Tour.

Siali Lawake has signed for the Hurricanes. Congratulations to the young fella. The White Ferns, second T20 against Australia, is on tonight in Sydney. And the NFL, the 49ers host the Commanders at 1.15pm today. Tuesday morning, Tuesday afternoon, football.
