We've got our Taycan is loaded and ready.

**Matt Harmon** (0:03)
Absolutely dominant on deep routes, absolutely dominant on short routes.

**James Koh** (0:07)
The boys are backbanging.

**Matt Harmon** (0:08)
Excellent separation against ManCover. This is Reception Perception The Show.

**James Koh** (0:15)
Yo, what's cracking everybody? James Koh, Matt Harmon here with you. You're listening to Reception Perception The Show. We were talking backstage here, Matt, that it feels like I have not seen you in ages, dude.
I mean, when we start doing a podcast twice a week, bro, like then we go, I think we did one podcast in three weeks or something like that. It's crazy.

**Matt Harmon** (0:34)
It is weird, but you know what? It's good to be back. It's good to be back in full force. And yeah, man, I'm excited. Vacation was fantastic. I think I said this the last time we spoke that I feel like I just want to disappear every June now for a month.
It was great. It was really refreshing. All parts of the trip were fantastic. At the same time, though, I am coming back more motivated and more excited about work than ever, dude. Already dropped a bunch of year four profiles on the site. We've got more coming this week. Zay Flowers, Pooka Nakua, Jordan Addison, Trey Tucker in the works. Hopefully have all those up by Friday, but already a bunch of guys on the site and a bunch of work. Been done a new mailbag video up on YouTube. I do feel like I'm still getting used to talking again in a professional setting. It is weird. You mentioned like we do two podcasts a week. I also do however many podcasts, a hundred for Yahoo during the week as well.
I get back on the mic, I'm like, oh, right. How do I do this again?

**James Koh** (1:46)
Oh man, I love the fact that you are back on your grind. And speaking of some of these profiles, man, we're going to talk about three of them today.
Quentin Johnston, Josh Downs, JSN. Oh, but before we start, let me apologize to the podcast listeners. Again, we normally come out two episodes a week. We obviously missed an episode this week because I had got back from my convention and dude, my voice was just shot. I mean, it was ripped to shreds. There was many adult beverages consumed. A lot of karaoke songs were sang and my voice was just not in the right spot, man. So anyways, I do apologize for that, but we're back. We're back, baby. We're here.

**Matt Harmon** (2:23)
I'm probably the only person listening, speaking, you know, whatever, who's been with Koh for some karaoke in their lifetime. Maybe a couple of the listeners, I don't know. But yeah, he gets down on the karaoke. So he lets it belt. So now I very much understand why he had to miss the show.

**James Koh** (2:42)
Good. All right. Well, perfect. It is in my genetics to be as a Korean American. It's in my genetics to sing some songs here. But anyways, let's get to QJ.
You and I have been in a little bit of a disagreement in regards to Quentin Johnson. I read the profile, you know, again, I am impressed with his improvements overall. We're talking about a guy that posted nearly a 61% success rate versus man. So still very much below average, but got back to about league average or good markings here at 79.5% against his own. So that's a good number. 58.6% success rate versus press coverage. Again, still a below average number. But overall, Matt, this is a guy who has improved dramatically going for 2024 to 2025

**Matt Harmon** (3:28)
Yeah, I'm sure it was like now over a month ago that you and I, when we were talking about Lad McConkey, I think I made a point to you that I do think that we, and at the time I meant you, but you know, it's not just you, it's not just you. I do feel like the royal we, the general NFL audience, I think still holds Quentin Johnston's rookie season kind of too much against him. And by the way, I don't think that is exclusive to just Quentin Johnston. I mentioned that I just working on, it'll honestly, it'll be published by the time this episode comes out, Zay Flowers' profile. He's another guy that I feel like still kind of gets typecasted in the ways that he did as a rookie in some of these like, anyway, totally separate conversation. But for Quentin Johnston, I think it's very apparent because his rookie season in Reception Perception was a disaster. It was one of the worst.
