Yo, what's cracking everybody? James Koh, Matt Harmon here with you. You're listening to Reception Perception The Show. Oh my goodness gracious. Got a great show lined up in front of us here today. Why? Because today, Matt Harmon graced us with a bunch of new brand new player profiles on the website, receptionperception.com.
Five brand new receivers, Matt, here. Your three guys, including Romo Dunze, Brian Thomas Jr, Marvin Harrison, Ladd McConkey, and Xavier Worthy. We're going to talk about a couple of these guys in today's show, but it is a weird group of players, dude, because after a really, really promising rookie campaigns for all five of these guys, literally every single one of these dudes took a step back statistically last year.

I will say it's a group I remain really fond of, actually still this 2024 class, especially after going through the charting. Yeah, those five guys are up on the site now. By the end of the week before I piece out to Portugal for a little bit here on a vacation.

Not a 0% chance as we've said.
But anyways, point being here that by the end of the week, there will be a lot more of these 2024 drafted wide receivers up on the site of the year three guys. And again, it's a group I remain really fond of because I think what the charting shows is that these guys are all still, you know, to varying degrees, really good players. And I think particularly last year, just and again, going just through my notes and kind of putting things together, you just forget like the injury luck on all of these guys was horrible. I mean, and in a weird way, almost all of them had some sort of, you know, like bad play at the catch point and drops, which, you know, I largely like obviously think if you've guys have followed my work over the years, you know that I think that's something that can be corrected. And, you know, and the whole deal, like, I think that can get overemphasized. If you just look at the guys that were drafted in the first round of that 2024 class, Marvin Harrison Jr, Malik Neighbors, Roma Dunze, Brian Thomas Jr, Xavier Worthy, Ricky Pearsall, Xavier LeGette.
LeGette, we'll see. None of those guys played a full season this past year. All of them had injuries that kind of nagged them even when they did play. Even LeGette played in 15 games last year. He had a little bit of an injury. I do think he is not quite at the level of the rest of the class. But still, even a guy like Xavier Worthy, who, to be fair, I've always been a little bit lower than consensus on as a round one player. Even he had, you got to say, he had injuries that impacted him. Literally three snaps into the first game of the season. He collides with his teammate Travis Kelsey on a mesh concept, which if their listed weights are to be believed from the chief's roster. Travis Kelsey outweighs Xavier Worthy by 85 pounds.

Probably 100 Like I said, probably 100 Worthy is probably a little lighter than what he's listed at.
Kelsey is probably a little bit heavier. Maybe over indexing more on the ladder than the former. But yeah, Marvin Harrison had a concussion and appendectomy. I completely forgot he had appendicitis in the middle of the damn season.

So just obviously, neighbors only played him four games. We'll talk about the Giants here in just a second. Clearly, he's not 100% healthy. So Roma Dunze with the stress fracture in his foot. BTJ with like a wrist, shoulder, ankle. Just Ricky Pierce, obviously the PCL. It's just really bad luck injury wise for this class. But I think the profiles show kind of where they're at at this point in their careers.
