By the way, did you see that Jared Verst new Brown's pass rusher said, in my mind, they both look like elite quarterbacks out there duking it out on the Deshaun Watson and Shedeur and Shedeur. Yeah, that's what he said. So obviously, the Internet's having fun with that because I think we can all agree that that's probably not where Shedeur and Watson rank in this current moment in terms of NFL quarterbacks. What does he think Matthew Stafford is? If like mega elite, ultra elite? I don't know. But you know what?
I had a different take about it. I actually think in a world where we're all talking about positive self-talk and manifestation and all that, why not, baby? Speak it into reality. Speak it into reality, Jared, verse two elite quarterbacks in the Cleveland Browns, one of which we're going to break down today.

I love the fact that he would go so far to say that. I don't know what else he is supposed to say, you know? Yeah, obviously.

But I mean, if he was with the Rams, what would he say about Shedeur? What would he say about Deshaun Watson?

Probably nothing. He would probably never think about them for a single second. I think that's something that people don't realize about NFL players is they're not actively thinking about other NFL players very often on different teams. Yeah, these are two great quarterbacks.
So far, I've just seen two elite quarterbacks battling it out is what he said on Good Morning Football today, apparently.

I mean, it was there for last year and technically, Watson was there last year.

So poor Dylan Gabriel, by the way, just doesn't.

Has there ever, I mean, that was a bad pick at the time. Horrible.
Everybody knew it was bad and that was honestly the moment for me is, I wasn't like the biggest Shedeur guy in the world, but that was the moment to me when they took Dylan Gabriel. I was like, okay, come on guys, what are we doing? We can't be taking Dylan Gabriel ahead of Shedeur Sanders. Shedeur Sanders, fine, we didn't take him the first round, second round. That's totally fine. We can't be taking Dylan. And then he ends up on the same team and predictably was actually much, I know that Shedeur statistically was like the worst quarterback in the NFL, obviously by almost any objective stat. Well, interested to break down the charting data later. But I think like I test wise, he was better than Dylan Gabriel. So great. There's no question. They just kind of lit that pick on fire. I can't believe Dylan Gabriel is not in Atlanta yet. You know, following Stefanski down there with the left hand quarterback.

There you go. Perfect. We start the show, though, talking about Jordan Addison. Interesting player. And I think I learned a lot about KLC and his passing attack just by just by looking at the route percentages like route participation.
What I don't understand is, OK, you were talking you were hinting at this before, but they just not throwing a lot of slant routes. But I mean, golly, six percent slant route participation for Jordan Addison. That seems criminal. I mean, listen, I'm not saying it's got to be 20 percent or something, but how in the modern NFL, wide receivers got to be running the slant route in the double digits. Six percent is a little crazy.
