Oh, well, it's a pleasure. It's been too long.
So some interesting things to talk about with you, George. First off, happy 250th birthday here to America. We're just a couple days away from it. You live in Puerto Rico. Does that add it?

**George Gammon** (1:48)
No, no, no, Medellin, Medellin.

**Adam Taggart** (1:51)
Oh, you're in Medellin.

**George Gammon** (1:52)
Yeah, yeah. I, you know, yeah, it does put a different spin on it.

**Adam Taggart** (1:56)
I know. Yeah, I knew that too. But yeah, of course, it places a completely different spin because nobody cares about America's 250th down there. But you guys have yourselves a new president, right?

**George Gammon** (2:06)
Yeah. And what's weird is nobody's talking about it.
I hear a couple people just here and there that are kind of neck deep in the macro space, especially in emerging markets, talking about the big shift to the right in South America.

**Adam Taggart** (2:21)
Because it's a big shift. It's not just a regular torch passing. Huge.

**George Gammon** (2:26)
Yeah. And you see the huge bifurcation, very similar to what you see in the United States, where the political parties are going to the extremes.
And you see it down here in South America as well. In the case of Colombia, we just had the election last weekend. And the two guys are basically a complete socialist. His father was actually a communist. And I mean, he was absolutely terrible.

You're talking about the president who just lost, right?

**George Gammon** (2:52)
Well, so the president that was there for four years, Petro, he was out, regardless. So he was kind of handing the torch to his buddy, who was just as much of a socialist, if not more than he was.
I mean, that guy, he was up there at the guy in New York City.

**Adam Taggart** (3:14)
He was your version of Mdami?

**George Gammon** (3:16)
Probably even further to the left.

**Adam Taggart** (3:18)
Okay.

**George Gammon** (3:19)
And then the other guy was, he had never been in politics before.

**Adam Taggart** (3:23)
El Tigre, right?

**George Gammon** (3:24)
Yeah, very similar to Malay.
And he's not as libertarian, but he's definitely far right, really tough on crime and all these other things and very pro business. And the pro business guy won. And he'd never been in politics in his life. He was just a former lawyer.

**Adam Taggart** (3:42)
So it was kind of like a Mamdami versus Trump candidate for you?

**George Gammon** (3:46)
I would say Mamdami versus Malay.

**Adam Taggart** (3:48)
Okay.
But anyway, so he won. And this El Tigre guy, the guy who won, he's more US friendly, right? So hopefully, this bodes well for just more commerce, more business, more ties between Colombia.

**George Gammon** (4:08)
Yeah. You can tell that's the market expectation just through the currency.

**Adam Taggart** (4:12)
Yeah.

**George Gammon** (4:12)
Because as he was gaining in popularity, if you look like polymarket prior to the election, the currency was appreciating on that.
