If he's Founder mode, I'm gonna Founder mode.

**David Sacks** (0:06)
I got to Founder mode too. Where's Jay Cal? Oh, shit.

**Jason Calacanis** (0:13)
Let's go, Friedberg, let's get this party started, baby. Come on, podcast.

**David Friedberg** (0:18)
Number one podcast in the world.

**Jason Calacanis** (0:19)
Here we go.

**David Friedberg** (0:20)
Okay, guys, let's start the show.

**David Sacks** (0:22)
You are Founder mode-ing.

**Chamath Palihapitiya** (0:23)
Jay Cal, if you Founder mode anymore, you're gonna get pneumonia.

**David Friedberg** (0:27)
All right, Sacks is like the 90s again.

**Jason Calacanis** (0:29)
Back at Stanford.

**Chamath Palihapitiya** (0:32)
This is the funniest cold opening we've ever done.

**David Friedberg** (0:35)
Sorry.

**Chamath Palihapitiya** (0:35)
Oh my God.

**Jason Calacanis** (0:36)
I got Belgian waffle mix everywhere.

**Chamath Palihapitiya** (0:39)
It's right here, Jay Cal, you got a bunch of Founder mode right there.

**Jason Calacanis** (0:43)
I got a little Founder mode there.
Founder mode, baby. Let's go. All right, everybody, welcome back to the number one podcast in the world with me again. The chairman Dictator, Chamath Palihapitiya. How are you doing, buddy? Have you acclimated? Now you're 15 days back on American soil. How are you adjusting?

**Chamath Palihapitiya** (1:20)
I'm doing well. I turned 48 two days ago.

**Jason Calacanis** (1:24)
Oh, I know. The big 50th's coming. I've already called dibs on chairing your 50th, so we will be certainly getting arrested in 24 months. Save up your bell money, boys. Friedberg, you look like you have had a record number of panic attacks in the last 48 hours. How is summit planning going? Are you okay, buddy? You took this responsibility on. Are you okay?

**David Friedberg** (1:49)
I'm hanging in there. I'm just waiting for the shoe to drop Jay Cal and what you're going to do to blow shit up, but I think we're almost there, so we're super excited. We have speaker names going out today, so we'll talk a little bit about who the speakers are. You guys know your bestie, Elon, will be there.

**Jason Calacanis** (2:05)
third year in a row. Okay.

**David Friedberg** (2:06)
third year in a row. He's the only repeat this year. We've got Mark Benioff joining us for a conversation about the future of enterprise. We've got Barry Weiss from the Free Press. We've got Arizona Senator kirsten Sinema. We have John Mearsheimer and Jeffrey Sacks to talk about geopolitics with David Sacks, Sacks on Sacks. Nick Asherora.

**Jason Calacanis** (2:29)
What about Peter Thiel? My guy. I haven't interviewed Peter Thiel in a decade. He's amazing.

**David Friedberg** (2:34)
We've got the legend from LA, Michael Lovitz, joining us. We're going to get into some really cool tech. We have-

**Chamath Palihapitiya** (2:43)
Have you guys read Michael Lovitz's book?

**Jason Calacanis** (2:44)
Oh, yes. Oh, yeah.

**Chamath Palihapitiya** (2:46)
It's incredible. It's really incredible. It's a great book. Michael's incredible. It's a great book.

**Jason Calacanis** (2:52)
What a playbook.

**David Friedberg** (2:53)
It's a really interesting mix. We've also got some cool panels on tech and robotics. So we're doing all three of the big eVTOL companies. Joby, Archer, and Whisk, and their CEOs are going to be there. Gecko Robotics. So we've got Jake coming from Gecko to actually do a really cool product demo. We have the CEO of Waymo, Takeda Mowakana joining us. Talk about autonomous driving. Juan Carlos Belmonte talking about age reversal from Altos Labs, probably the most funded private company in history.
And also, Ingo is coming out from Europe from Adyen, CEO of Adyen. You guys may not know this, but Ingo has never done a US conference before. So this is his first public speaking event at a US conference.

**Chamath Palihapitiya** (3:37)
He may be the first. I mean, Adyen I think is the first and really only company that's implemented AI in production at scale. It will be really interesting to understand where that's gone in the last year.

**David Friedberg** (3:49)
Great topic to talk about. And huge shout out to my boy, Woody Hoverg, US astronaut joining us to tell us about his months aboard the ISS.

**Chamath Palihapitiya** (3:59)
Is he going to talk about his experience at Uranus?

**David Friedberg** (4:04)
And captaining the Crew Dragon capsule back to Earth. From Uranus? And the future of space flight and Uranus. To Uranus. Thank you, everyone.

**Jason Calacanis** (4:14)
I love how he's like my guy, the astronaut, as if like Friedberg and an astronaut have the same life experience.

**David Friedberg** (4:21)
You know what happened, Jay Cal?

**Jason Calacanis** (4:23)
