You.

Patrick Bet-David (0:29)

You don't watch, anyways, Adam Sear trying to tell us that a player, it's a very good player, MVP type of candidate, and I keep trying to tell Adam, Adam, you don't know about sports.

SPEAKER_1 (0:40)

Especially basketball.

Patrick Bet-David (0:41)

He wants to be a sports commentator nonstop, and Stephen A. Smith puts him in his place every time we're together. But anyways, let me tell you some good news. Elon Musk chose, out of all the companies he's competing against, like, let me go pick on an industry. So guess what industry he's picking on? He's picking on Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, saying, I can provide better service for your customers than you can. And not only that, all those dead spots that you guys keep losing your phone, like when I go up to Palm Beach, I lose service at around Boynton Beach or Boca, every single time if you're on AT&T. Or off the 210 freeway in Glendale, when you're going from Granada Hills and you go off that 210, you know which one I'm talking about, like Roxford and Sylmar, right over that seven minute, you have no service. Well, Elon's trying to say, I'll give you service there. Or when your internet goes out, and what is the local, Infinity? Is that what it is? Infinity's out. Infinity's out. Infinity's out. Infinity's out. Oh, Infinity's out. But we forgot to tell you guys that we're out. This guy wants to compete in that market.

So the day he announces this, Verizon, everyone's numbers are down 7% just based off an announcement.

Everybody's. He gets in that now, whether he's gonna get into the phone business or not, we'll talk about that as well. So Porsche hires a new CEO. You know who their new CEO is? He used to be with Porsche back in the days. Then he leaves Porsche to go become the CTO of Ferrari. Then he leaves Ferrari to go become the CEO of McLaren. Then he comes back to Porsche. And guess what he wants to do to Porsche? He wants to Ferrari-ify Porsche is what he wants to do.

So right now Porsche produces around 330,000 cars a year. And he wants to say, no, we're gonna go to 200,000 cars a year. And the top line car prices, I'm gonna raise them by 20%. So if you're paying 250 for a Porsche 911 Turbo S, guess what? It's gonna be $300,000.

And they're about to announce a new, October 15th, I think they're announcing a new supercar. It's called Mission S. Oh, I said it, it's Mission S. To re-dick, so he wants to go like this.

Vinny (2:46)

He's going high-cow.

Patrick Bet-David (2:47)

And so a lot of people are saying, are you gonna get rid of the lower level cars? Are you gonna get rid of the Boxer, the Cayenne, all this stuff? What are you gonna be doing? Because are you gonna try to serve the average day person that can go buy a $70,000 car, that can't afford to buy a $300,000 car? People are concerned. We'll talk about that. I think it's a great story. In the meantime, Starbucks. Today, I'm driving in the car. I'm getting ready. My girls decide to come with me. I got a real cute picture I'll show you guys here in a minute.

Can you take a picture with them with both of their shirts on and send it to me? Maybe they can come visit here in a minute. Not right now, like in 20 minutes. But Brooklyn looks at me and she says, Daddy, you can't go to Starbucks anymore while she's eating her yogurt. I said, why can't I go to Starbucks anymore? Because they put slime. She's five years old.

They put slime and Mickey told me, you can't drink it.

You can't go to Starbucks anymore. I said, really? Story comes out that all the sugar situation. I don't know if you got the-

Vinny (3:37)

Oh, the no sugar, it's sugar.

Patrick Bet-David (3:38)

Yeah, the sugar story. And guess what Brian Nicol decides to do? He whispers to the market, hey everybody, what if Starbucks bought Chipotle? Wait, what?

Yes, now keep in mind, the guy who was the former CEO of Chipotle comes to Starbucks.

Tom Crum (3:55)

He fixed Chipotle.

Patrick Bet-David (3:57)

He took Chipotle from $7 billion to $71 billion company. 10X's valuation comes to Starbucks. The day he announced that he's going to be the CEO of Starbucks, Starbucks' valuation goes up $20 billion just on the announcement. His comp was like $199 million.

And people bitched about it, $150 million, $199 million, real money. And today he announces, what if we bought Chipotle? Can you imagine Chipotle and Starbucks? Can I get a chicken combo bowl with a Frappuccino?
