That's what I always say, you always follow the money. This is Follow The Money with Mitch Moss and Pauly Howard on VSiN.

Here we go. Welcome in. It is Follow The Money on VSiN, the sports betting network, Mitch Moss, along with Femi Abebefe. He is in today for Pauly Howard, a fun three hour program lined up today. I'm going to call it, Femi, a three hour banger, in fact. Let's go. Andy Staples on the program, an hour from right now on college football, Greg Peterson, 90 Minutes Best Bets in Major League Baseball, which we'll get to a couple of times today. And Ryan Kramer, a ton of future bets in the NFL, plus week one. And we'll hit a lot of these week one games in college football as well that we have tonight, tomorrow night, Sunday as well. You and I were on the air yesterday for the beginning of what turned out to be a very improbable result.
Well, based on the numbers anyway, but when you watch and we said this like live during the show, like this is not a fluke. Like, and UMass absolutely stomped Ruckers and it was completely embarrassing for Ruckers overall. I'll ask you this to begin. Is that going to be the biggest upset we get in college football this year?
**Femi Abebefe** (1:06)
Oh, 29 point dog winning outright. I mean, it's hard to envision a bigger one. I mean, it's college football. So like, if these are 18 to well, at this point, what 25 year old kids, but it's like these things happen. They're not often, but man, I think it will be.
**Mitch Moss** (1:24)
So do I.
**Femi Abebefe** (1:24)
It's hard to, you might see teams come close or like get a scare or whatever, but to lose, especially to lose in that fashion. Like maybe we'll see one that mirrors it, but it's like maybe a flukey, you turn over luck or whatever. Somebody gets injured, something like that. But that was just straight up from minute one till the final whistle.
UMass was the better team. Right down the field, efficient, just looked way better than Rutgers, which was shocking given what the betting market closed at.
**Mitch Moss** (1:50)
They stomped them last night. Look, we've had plenty of 30-point dogs win in college football over the years, but that is like-
**Femi Abebefe** (1:56)
At state over Michigan.
**Mitch Moss** (1:58)
Yeah, right. Sure.
I think one year when Pete Carroll was at USC, and what, taking on Harbaugh right away in Stanford? Yeah, Stanford. Harbaugh was not proven yet at Stanford, and Stanford, the humongous dog, went outright and Pete Carroll was not happy with Harbaugh at the end of that game. So we've had, but banking on like us getting another, like, so that was 29 and a half points. Will we get one 30 point dog? I'm not so sure about that. You were all over the Buffaloes last night. That was an ugly game.
**Femi Abebefe** (2:28)
Yes.
**Mitch Moss** (2:29)
Tough to watch at times, but they got the, that was a hell of a pass and a great, the tight end absolutely juked the defender out of his mind, got open, great catch. And then how Georgia Tech handled the final possession after getting that long first down. It's just, here we are. It's a reminder that football can be so frustrating as fans, as betters.
And I wasn't rooting against you obviously, but it's, it's maddening to watch how they settled for a long field goal that was blocked.
**Femi Abebefe** (2:56)
What are we doing? Insane. The whole game from a betting standpoint was very frustrating because it was like Colorado. I felt was dominating the game.
**Mitch Moss** (3:03)
I agree.
**Femi Abebefe** (3:03)
It's like, hey, like they're moving the ball down the field. They're running the football right down Georgia Tech's throat, but they just, they would always do something to kind of stub their toe and kill the drive. And we saw it in the drive prior, where all of a sudden the center now snaps the ball over the quarterback's head and it's like, okay, well now they're in a tough spot. They got to settle for field goal or whatever. I was getting frustrated with, okay, I made a good bet with Colorado plus six and a half, but I think I'm going to lose the money line because of all these idiotic mistakes that Colorado was making along the way. Little did I know that Georgia Tech has never seen situational football or know how to manage a clock or any of that. They were snapping the ball. Cause at this point I was like, hey, you know what? Money line, sprinkle, take it. I'll take the L on that one. Just give me the six and a half. I was rooting for Georgia Tech to run the clock out. And they were snapping the ball. 15 seconds left, 20 seconds. I'm like, guys, you're winning.
