You always follow the money.

Mitch Moss (0:10)

That's what I always say, you always follow the money.

Pauly Howard (0:19)

Here we go.

Welcome in, Follow the Money on VSiN, the SportsBetty Network, Mitch Moss along with Pauly Howard. We are live downtown Vegas from the Circa Resort and Casino. We have a great program lined up over the next three hours. Good guest today on the show as well. Plenty of reaction last night, week one into week two for the National Football League. We have early look ahead numbers for week three, which we always love to do on a weekly basis. An awards update in the NFL, some look ahead, some let down, some sandwich spots in college football and great numbers today in Major League Baseball. D. Orlando Ledbetter on the Falcons quarterback situation in 30 minutes, Paul Stone College Football 90, Derek Stevens coming up 630 Eastern Time, owner of CEO of Circa Las Vegas. So I think both things can be true. Chiefs looked pretty good last night. I mean, the Walker stuff, obviously, he looked incredible. The Super Bowl MVP was amazing. Mahomes didn't do much at all. At the same time, the Broncos were really, really bad. And I got scorched, man.

I did not have a good night betting that game last night with the Bo Nix rushing props. They never did anything with the guy. No rollouts, no design plays, no read options, none of that stuff. And those were losing propositions last night. He was absolutely god-awful. But so was Mahomes.

I shouldn't say that. Mahomes was not that... I mean, Pauly, the longest completed pass, air yards from him, was six yards down the field.

Pauly Howard (1:46)

Yeah. You take out the blown coverage on Kelsey at 110 yards.

Mitch Moss (1:50)

Yeah, that's right.

Pauly Howard (1:50)

Of course, he scrambles and gets the first touchdown.

Mitch Moss (1:53)

Of course, it was Mahomes to go over everything rushing and not go next.

Pauly Howard (1:55)

I know, I know. 30-1 first touchdown.

Mitch Moss (1:59)

Well, imagine what he was for all those props we talked about with Nicks yesterday.

Pauly Howard (2:02)

Yeah.

Mitch Moss (2:02)

Mahomes to go over, to ladder him in the first quarter for the game, the longest rush. That was never a sweat last night.

So on his feet anyway, that was no problem. Although, how did Kelsey get away with that hold at the goal line?

Pauly Howard (2:15)

Yeah, it's in front of everybody. That's blatant.

Mitch Moss (2:17)

Tackled the guy.

Pauly Howard (2:18)

Yeah, they gotta call that. That's a bad job by the officials. This is exactly what they needed with Walker. They've had no running game the last couple of years. The guys that have been in there haven't been healthy, but to get that bulldozer in there and the creativity and running a play from the 1940s with a touchdown. The second one, what Andy Reid said after the game. So good to have Biennemy back too, but that was just atrocious tackling by Denver.

Awful. And how they gashed them on the ground, all the missed tackles. And it was also a tough day for Webb, taking over with play calling duties too.

So this is, I mean, it's the worst loss to open the season for a team that won 14 games the year before. So they got to get organized quick because their schedule is brutal. And that's a big game now, Sunday against Jacksonville, considering Jacksonville is good and beat the hell out of them last year as well. So defense was terrible, horrible tackling, bad play calling, offense didn't do a damn thing. Knicks look rusty.

That was a tough way to start the season and a bad look for the Broncos.

Mitch Moss (3:20)

Their next seven to be exact, at home to Jacksonville, the Rams at the Niners at the Chargers, Seahawks at Arizona and Kansas City.

Pauly Howard (3:28)

Oh my God. Wow. Yeah.

Mitch Moss (3:31)

The Chargers schedule is very difficult. How about that one for the Broncos? And I hope this doesn't turn into a runaway for the Chiefs this year. Their next three, India at home, by the way, that number did touch seven back down to six and a half at Miami next week at the Raiders the next week and then a buy. I mean, it has four and all written all over it, obviously, here for the Chiefs.

Pauly Howard (3:51)

Yeah. They're laying ten against Miami. Yep. That's going to be a hot start for them. Defense was awesome as well. It was just nothing Denver did worked.
