Thanks for checking in and watching as always on YouTube TV, listening on SiriusXM Channel 189, iHeartRadio, Tuning Radio or any of our great affiliates. Here's what we have coming up this hour. In 30 minutes, we'll talk Chiefs, Broncos, Money Night Football, Parker Gabriel covers the Broncos for the Denver Post. We'll ask him if we can get the same Bo Nicks that we watched before the injury, will he be that mobile? Is he going to be running in 45 minutes? The good, the bad and the ugly from the weekend here. As we'll do every Monday throughout the football season, we'll look ahead to the next week. The numbers in the National Football League will begin Thursday night. Pauly, you now have a good number in pocket with the Buffalo Bills.
You laid three, that was a look ahead number for a long time. This is now up to four, four and a half, total is 53 and a half. Look, they should have lost the game yesterday.
That INT by Lassiter, how does he drop that? And then right back, boom, touchdown. And then CJ Strahd looked okay, but when they needed it most, he turned into a pumpkin.
Mitch Moss (1:14)
Well, Alan was fantastic.
Pauly Howard (1:16)
He was great.
Mitch Moss (1:16)
Great job. Offense was dangerous and that's why it's going to be a problem for Detroit Thursday. Bill's Mafia will be going crazy.
And while certainly Gibbs was awesome, a little concerned about Goff and the dink and dunk. 5.5 yards per attempt. Good job with the drive in overtime, but couldn't put them away. And that was a putrid second half out of the Lions. So, so far, okay with the new coordinator.
Pauly Howard (1:42)
The totals here looking at this game is 53 and a half. The team totals obviously sky high as well. How do we look at this? Because again, the Lions defense looked great in the first half against the Saints.
Mitch Moss (1:53)
They got after the quarter. Hutchinson was good.
Pauly Howard (1:55)
Yeah, he really was. They were stifling Tyler Schuch the entire time. And what do we do with that Bill's game against the Texans?
Mitch Moss (2:02)
Like you got to be concerned about the defense. I mean, it was so easy. And then they did come up with the back to back sacks and then the fumble.
But that was easy for the Texans what they did. So Bill certainly have a lot of issues defensively too. They might be the AFC version of the Bears.
Pauly Howard (2:18)
Let me run this idea by you.
Because I missed the best number you have it in pocket. But I like the Bills in this game after I also like LSU to just to beat Ole Miss Saturday night. How about a Bills LSU Moneyline parlay? It pays in the neighborhood of plus 140 a little bit higher. If the Bills win the game, you can come back and take Ole Miss plus three and try to win both bets or three if it goes to three and a half because right go up LSU is three minus 15 cents here. So maybe get three and a half Eagles. The look ahead number at Tennessee was five and a half. Now they're seven, thirty nine and a half.
Boy, oh boy. That Tennessee performance.
Mitch Moss (2:56)
I know.
Pauly Howard (2:57)
I didn't even mention them in the first hour. The Titans are still in the conversation for worst team in the league.
Mitch Moss (3:01)
Yep. There's no improvement from Ward.
Nothing in that offense. And Dayball couldn't do anything to kickstart it right away. It's just the same crap again.
Pauly Howard (3:13)
Any opinion here? If it goes to seven and a half somehow, would you tease the Eagles down?
Mitch Moss (3:19)
Yeah, it's a good teaser.
Pauly Howard (3:20)
Road game?
Mitch Moss (3:21)
But it's just, I know, it's just, we were disappointed in that second half. This stuff can't happen. There's too many weapons and to go for three and out, four straight drives, it would have been an easy win because the defense got gassed.
Pauly Howard (3:33)
That's right.
Mitch Moss (3:34)
It should be an under though.
Pauly Howard (3:36)
Yeah.
Mitch Moss (3:36)
I don't think many points in that game.
Pauly Howard (3:38)
The Patriots were laying four at home to the Steelers. Now the number four and a half, five, five and a half, low 40s for a total here.
Mitch Moss (3:46)
Well, you get revenge from last year. Also, certainly you don't want to start and 2, but I hate that they don't have AJ Brown. And the booty trade looks terrible now. So now you're counting on Dobbs, who was so bad against Seattle, you get all that time off. But again, Pittsburgh's lucky to get out of there with a win, how bad they looked.
