Here we go, welcome in. It is Follow the Money on VSiN, the SportsBetting Network, Mitch Moss, along with Pauly Howard. We're live downtown Vegas from the Circus Resort and Casino. We've got a three hour banger lined up today. Plenty of reaction from what we watched yesterday and last night, week one of the National Football League. We'll take our time to go through that. Of course, we'll get to week two numbers in the NFL in about an hour. Nick Whalen on the program, a look at Monday Night Football player props, Parker Gabriel, who covers the Broncos on the game tonight. We got to get into the Bo Nicks injury. Are we expecting him to run like the Bo Nicks that we had before the injury took place last year? The good, the bad and the ugly. I don't want to overreact, but Pauly has an award-winning edition of Win Lose coming up in 45 minutes.

And how are we feeling today about people who had the chargers on survivor tickets? I did not. I'm not one of those people. We talked about this yesterday on the Sunday morning show. Pauly and I are doing that, a tailgate show every week during the football season. That begins at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. I said I'm not going to be surprised with the Cardinals. Like, if it's tight in the third quarter and for those people on the chargers, it's like, oh, what did I get myself into here? And it was never. Yeah, they just sucked yesterday.

Pauly Howard (1:32)

Yeah, that's all I can say. The highlight of the game was Madison Beers. I mean, it was just a pathetic because they're so well coached. And I mean, Harbaugh comes right in and takes some of the playoffs. And you get the opening drive, go right down for a score. Hampton fumbles the blocked punt.

And then.

I can't defend the guy anymore. It's 23 to 14 You still have time. You're in midfield. And then, Herbert throws into double coverage with the interception. As we talked about yesterday in a pregame, that team lost 14 in their last 15 and couldn't stop anything. And here you are at home, $25 to get in.

No juice, no excitement. And you get blown out to start as a big favorite. That's a horrible look. And I just, between what happened in that game and what happened Sunday night, I'm just sick of the dack and the Herbert hype.

Like, let's win something first before we crown them. Just silly interceptions, bad decisions. And I want these guys to win in the worst way possible, but I don't think it's going to happen. Either guy.

Mitch Moss (2:35)

No. And I mean, another thing that we pointed out is I cannot, there's no way know how anybody should have been betting Justin Herbert 10 to 1 to win the MVP just at that number.

You can't bet that. And exactly what you've said before, I want to love the guy. This is supposed to year. It has to pop. You bring in Mike McDaniel. You have unbelievable weapons. The offensive line in theory, not decimated by injuries at this point, like they were last year. Everything's set up. The schedule is very difficult. No way you could bet 10 to 1 on him. I can't, I just, one week in and I'm kind of with you as well. I can't make a case for Justin Herbert anymore. Now, there is this as well when McConkie, he got hurt yesterday and they were peppering him big time. Trevor Sykema had this at Pro Football Focused.

When he was on the on-off splits with McConkie on the field, 8.9 yards per pass. After he left, 3.9 yards per pass. On 0.12 EPA per play off, negative 0.61 EPA per play night and day when he was on and off the field yesterday.

Pauly Howard (3:35)

Right. Ninety-one people used all 10 entries on the Chargers.

That has got to suck. A ton of people had him in Grandesimo.

Mitch Moss (3:46)

A big number there.

Pauly Howard (3:47)

Almost half the field had him at the Westgate Survivor Contest.

Mitch Moss (3:51)

Yep.

Pauly Howard (3:51)

You're taking out a ton of people already. What saved a lot of people, though, was the injuries to Atlanta and Cooper are starting. So a lot of people pivoted to Pittsburgh. Some people got creative with the Raiders. But a lot of people probably said Jacksonville should beat Cleveland. I'll wait with the Chargers. I'll use them next week at home against the Raiders.
