Pauly Howard (0:41)

You didn't do Super Contest?

Mitch Moss (0:43)

I did not do the Super Contest. No, no, I did the College Contest and I did Survivor over at the Westgate and the NFL Win Total Contest. How about yourself?

Pauly Howard (0:53)

I'd rather beat 606,000.

Mitch Moss (0:57)

So I did the Super Contest.

Pauly Howard (0:59)

Yeah, 11 ways to win.

Mitch Moss (1:01)

I can't blame it. Yeah, they give out a bunch of quarterlies over there.

Pauly Howard (1:03)

Yeah, that is shot.

Mitch Moss (1:05)

OK. Let me give you this. Now, I talked to Ed Sammons yesterday on the air.

Who is a recently retired, longtime Las Vegas odds maker, he's dynamite. People have said he's like the sharpest guy they've ever met. Multiple people told me the same thing. He made a case for the Broncos in the game.

So I was digging today around for like just historically here, active players who has done like really, really well. Is there anybody that sticks out week one? Well, Mahomes, one of the best of all time, but his numbers in week one over his career. He has a 22 to two touchdown to INT ratio. And some of these games, they got beat last year. He threw for two fifty eight, a touchdown, no I.N.T.'s against Baltimore. He threw for almost three hundred yards, one touchdown, one INT. He had a solid game against Detroit. They lost that game. It was a lot of the stuff came the first four or five years in his career, but we're talking about a game with four touchdowns, three games with three touchdowns. He had a game with five touchdowns in there, which was on nine eleven back in 2022 against Arizona. Isn't that when Arizona was still good? So he is absolutely crushing in week ones.

Pauly Howard (2:22)

Boy, that's a big loss though on the O line.

Mitch Moss (2:24)

I can't get there with the Chiefs. There's no way.

Pauly Howard (2:26)

In fact, I'm begging you to bet him. Look at the line.

SPEAKER_5 (2:30)

Yeah.

Pauly Howard (2:30)

Well, you don't know what you're going to get.

Mitch Moss (2:32)

They're there. It's how do you not? Don't you have to have a piece of the Broncos on a teaser up to eight and a half?

Pauly Howard (2:40)

Yeah, I do think we'll see more creativity, though. An imagination would be enemy coming back.

Mitch Moss (2:45)

A hundred percent. We will.

Pauly Howard (2:46)

Yep.

Mitch Moss (2:47)

Lamar Jackson is another one.

He said some really good rushing games in his career in week one. That's been kind of the narrative around it this year. We're going to get back to see the old Lamar.

Pauly Howard (2:57)

Oh boy. I mean, great numbers indoors and great numbers against Lou Anarumo's defense, too.

And that's whether he does it through the air or with his feet. The Colts were a travesty against the run last year.

Mitch Moss (3:11)

Oh yes, they were.

Pauly Howard (3:11)

So this could be big with Henry and Lamar on the ground.

Mitch Moss (3:14)

What do you make of that number? DeBundo came on earlier, gave up Colts plus three and a half, but that again, that's.

Pauly Howard (3:19)

I can't. No, no, I just think Baltimore gets whatever they want offensively, not to mention it worked out for him last year. Remember, the Colts could never win a game week one. They beat Miami last year.

But before before that stretch, they couldn't win a game week one and they were 311 and one ATS since 2008 And also, I don't like the loss of Pittman, which Danny Dimes was cooking last year and was so good until the injury. And so was JT, but that's a big loss now. Pierce coming off an injury, you don't have Pittman.

You have to love Warren. But I think it's a good Baltimore defense when they're healthy and they're healthy, at least to start.
