This is VSiN, the SportsBetting Network. This is Follow the Money, with Mitch Moss and Pauly Howard on VSiN.

Mitch Moss (0:20)

Here we go, welcome in. Follow the Money on VSiN, the SportsBetting Network, Mitch Moss along with Pauly Howard. We are live in downtown Vegas, Circa Resort and Casino is your spot, a three-hour banger lined up today. My God, a little bit of everything. Great guest on the program, Nick Whalen, a look at Monday Night Football props coming up in 30 minutes. Chris Felica on one of the craziest weekends we've had in college football in years. John Kalbecki won the program, friend of the show. He has eight survivor entries left here at Circa.

This is why we love this racket, right? What happened over the weekend? We got a baseball game starting in about an hour. We'll talk about that. We got Monday Night Football. More on that coming up. We have all the week seven numbers as well.

But it was just with the Rams going down yesterday, tied into college football, everything that took place over the weekend. It's just it's we can't get it. I mean, the dopamine was going for like 48 straight hours, Pauly, from college football all day on Saturday into, it's unfortunate that last night's game was a complete dud and the Cowboys threw up a total stink bomb last night. Yeah.

Pauly Howard (1:21)

Well, that's the Cowboys.

Mitch Moss (1:22)

Of course.

Pauly Howard (1:23)

They have to adjust the power rate in their awful outfit.

Yeah, it was something. Saturday was a legendary day. First time five of the top seven lost on the same day. The Bear to break it all down as well. We'll get more in the stats coming up. But you're right how this thing started 26,000 people and we're down to 1,200 already in the middle of October.

Mitch Moss (1:44)

Think about that for a second.

Pauly Howard (1:45)

And it's also like talking to people. It's like, it's not like people are making dumb picks. You're still going by the biggest favorite and the second largest favorite on the board. And they're still taking you out. Sure.

Mitch Moss (1:55)

And now I saw everybody's like simulations are going to be a little bit different. So I was tagged on something earlier today that popped up on X. Somebody ran the model like for that game a thousand different times. And the Cardinals to win it outright by scoring zero touchdowns happened four different times, over a thousand games. And that's what happened yesterday with no touchdown score. And then they got bailed out on that. You know, the call at the end of that game on the Rams is absolutely obscene. But that's football that we have grown to love, I guess, over the years now. And their win probability increased from 26 percent to 75 percent as a result of that play on that 15 yard unnecessary roughness.

The Rams probability of making the playoffs would have been about 67 percent with the win drops to 43 percent. This is all too real now because obviously if they lose to the Cardinals, they can lose to anybody. And it's the final six games of the year for the Rams. It's like, OK, that's going to get rough yet again.

This stretch was supposed to be, and we talked about it this past week, on paper they are supposed to win like seven in a row, but it's the NFL, anything can happen. And that's exactly what took place yesterday. Disgusting loss again by the Rams.

Pauly Howard (2:59)

Well, it shouldn't have been close. You can't settle for all those field goals. You have too much talent. At some point you got to punch one of them in.

McVeigh at it again. Why are you in such a hurry to score a touchdown there in Parkinson? You better just run the ball. Don't give Arizona any time.

And of course you bring in your new kicker, Groupie, and then he gets hurt trying to make a tackle in his missing time. And then it's still shouldn't have come down to it because it should have been when they go for two, which why are the Rams so lousy on two points, Ryce? I know it. You're supposed to pitch that. Would have been an easy two points for the fat man. But he didn't do that as well.

I agree with you. The officials are terrible and that was a bad call. I think they were gonna lose anyways. Ryland would have been good from 65 I think so too. The kid's automatic. So great win, horrible loss. Williams complaining, why am I not on the field?
