You never would have done that had I had a future bet on the Dodgers.

But I also think it was a reverse jinx bet as well. But all of a sudden the Miz gets a double play and gets out of it. And that's all the Dodgers got. And they lose two one.

And now this Milwaukee bullpen has been awesome. And they're up to nothing. You go back best of seven history or 83 percent to get it done as we go to La La Land now tomorrow.

Plus 235 in that neighborhood on the Dodgers to come back and win.

And right now to win the World Series, it's the biggest number it's been, I think, all year long. They're plus 350 This series is not over with. I mean, I know those numbers that you just said, but they can easily get back into this thing. I would expect them to drag this out to six, seven games.

I did say several times I was concerned about the offense.

I mean, they're hitting 190 They're two for 26 with runners in scoring position.

Ohtani's hitting a buck 50 last 24 games. His last home run was August 18th. And how about this? Let's wind the clocks back a year. This guy's Babe Ruth. An all time performance. They sweep Milwaukee. He has a no hitter through five. He strikes out all those guys and it's three home runs. Best player we've ever seen. They might bench him now.

What do you make of that possibility? I mean, is there any way that he's completely healthy?

Pauly Howard (2:37)

Yeah. Okay. So that's the other thing too. And I encountered this last night with Josh Allen. I think he's hurt.

People think Ohtani's hurt. Ohtani can still hit a home run tomorrow. I mean, Kirk Gibson couldn't walk and went deep off the greatest reliever, one of the greatest relievers of all time. Sometimes they shoot you up with the good stuff or the adrenaline takes over and you go crazy. But I think they have to sit him because he's hurting the team. I think you have to do it. And I know some people will say, that's ridiculous. He's Babe Ruth. You can't do it. He's one of the best baseball players ever. You have to get him. But Gasser is a lefty.

He can't get a hit off a lefty. He's struggling putting a ball in play. I can't believe I'm saying this either. Confidence is shot.

Confidence does look like it is shot. However, going back to LA might be a good thing for him. I just don't. I understand everything that you're saying. He does not look close to being right. Or the Shohei Ohtani that we've watched now in his prime for all these years.

I just, you're going to look back at this thing. If you lose four games to one, whatever, however long it goes, if you don't win, you're going to say, man, maybe I should not have done that.
