Follow him on X. He is at Bellm. Chris, it's B-E-L-L-M. Chris, and he shares his numbers and his breakdown of this market every single month in Major League Baseball. What's up, man? Good to talk to you again.

**Chris Bellm** (1:11)
Yeah, thanks for having me once again. And a couple of quick shout outs. So I want to say shout out to Keith Koontz for helping put this model together a couple years ago.
He deserves some credit there as well. And then I appreciate you guys having me on this year. You know, I've been a fan and listener, viewer for a handful of years. So this is a great experience to come on the show throughout the season. So I really appreciate that as well. Enough with the flowers, I guess. Let's talk some baseball. The feeling is mutual.

**Mitch Moss** (1:41)
You do a great job with this. Let's let's let's recap August first. And I will point this out. You can run it down to how how it played out. But for people who want to get involved with this, I don't know if it's like this at DraftKings, but it is at Caesars for sure, not at Circa. But just something to put in the back of your mind when you bet this. Caesars, a lot of times throughout the month, will offer a cash out.
So that might be a consideration, especially if they have a better number on some of these teams than other books. But how did it go in August?

**Chris Bellm** (2:11)
Yeah, so the Phillies take it down for the month of August. We got one day left, but it doesn't matter. They got a two-win lead on Tampa. Unfortunately, for me, I have the raise for August, and they fell just short.
And I also had the Brewers for August. So those are my two teams, and they are tied for third. So yeah, the Phillies with a couple of miracle wins, and they got super hot throughout the month. So fall just short there. I thought it was really interesting as well. The Phillies become the fifth team. So every single month so far, we talk about home road splits every once in a while throughout this process. Every single monthly winner has had more away games than home games each month.
So pretty interesting.

**Pauly Howard** (2:57)
It is.

**Chris Bellm** (2:58)
And also this would be the shortest shot that we've seen cash for this season as they were around seven plus 750, nine to one range for the month of August.

**Pauly Howard** (3:08)
Okay, I'm glad you brought that up. And if I think I know you, if I know you well, I think you're gonna throw this team out and dismiss them. Number one, much has been made about their schedule and it's the easiest remaining schedule. And they have 17 against these cupcakes. But Seattle just got swept.
And they're nine games under 500 I don't trust them. Plus these other teams will probably relish playing the role of spoiler. And then you look at the price and it's only six to one. Are you throwing out Seattle because of the price?

**Chris Bellm** (3:38)
I am definitely throwing out Seattle. Now I may eat these words later, but the price is just too short. Schedule is definitely a joke. I don't think we've seen an easier schedule for any team throughout the entire season in any particular month. It's less than 42% as far as opponents' win percentage goes for Seattle this month. But the Mariners are just not playing good baseball.
They're coming in cold as well. So if they beat me, they beat me. But for me to get on board with Seattle, I was going to need definitely north of six to one.
