Welcome in. It is Follow The Money on VSiN, the sports betting network, Mitch Moss, along with Pauly Howard. We are live in downtown Vegas from the Circa Resort and Casino.
A very fun and entertaining three-hour program coming up. Hopefully a winning three-hour window as well here on the show. Jeff Sealey, fresh off of his win with Wyndham Clark last week at the BMW in 30 minutes. We'll look at East Lake, which starts tomorrow. Mike Palm on the program, You Cannot Be Serious.
And also, is it time for all of us to be betting Shohei Otani to win the National League MVP? And live from Hawaii, Matt Youmans, host of ESIM Primetime, gonna join us talk some college football. We just got a report from the fellows in the back about how Youmans started the trip when he landed in Hawaii. Surprise, surprise, he stopped at one of his favorite fast food restaurant called Zippy's at six o'clock in the morning, and he capped off breakfast with a hot choc, what was it, a hot fudge sundae? Yeah.

**Pauly Howard** (1:09)
At six a.m. That's impressive. I couldn't even do that. Well done. A little bit surprising too, because they have him here.
But good for him getting after it.

**Mitch Moss** (1:17)
We have plenty of football today on the docket as well. We will start a little Major League Baseball. We have a couple of games in action right now.
And I just want to begin here, Pauly.
It feels like the Costanza do the opposite time right now. Or if you're a contrarian better, same thing. Because some of the obvious stuff now this week, maybe it's not going to be a winner, but you would expect like different results. Go back to Monday night. We talked about this on the show. Chase Burns year to date was fantastic. Taking on a team that was bottoming out big time in San Francisco, and the Giants rocked them, and they won the game out right as a big dog. Yesterday, I'm going to forget some stuff here, but on paper it had all the makings for Gavin Williams to take a wrecking ball to the Angels.

**Pauly Howard** (2:00)
Struck out the side in the first.

**Mitch Moss** (2:02)
And he lasted what, one more out?

**Pauly Howard** (2:04)
Yeah.

**Mitch Moss** (2:05)
That was it. He got rock and rolled. Paul Skeens, terrific against a team that's been on fire.

**Pauly Howard** (2:10)
How was the velocity though? I mean, I still think you still have to bet it under. He did go six innings.
So, I think that's going to be his, that's going to cap it at six. So, with the outs under, he just had, he was okay. Gave up two hits, but if the velocity is there, okay, that's good news. But all of a sudden, the Friars can't hit now.

**Mitch Moss** (2:29)
Yeah. And I'll give you one, I'll give you two things that appeared to be way too obvious today. I did not bet them. I'm dialing back the baseball stuff as football approaches.
There's nothing wrong with that. But Logan Webb, now he got crushed at Boston. Nothing wrong with that. They've been one of the hottest teams of baseball for like two months now. But before that, he was awesome in four starts. Gave up basically nothing for the Giants. This is a guy at home during the day, specifically in his career, has been really good.
How is he this short of a number today? Like it was near Pick'em almost against LaDolo and the Reds. I get it, they're going for the sweep, so it might be a little anti-sweep stuff.

**Pauly Howard** (3:05)
Well, it's the first time. They're the only team that doesn't have a sweep. Are you kidding?

**Mitch Moss** (3:09)
Is that right?

**Pauly Howard** (3:10)
Yeah.
I'm with you. I had to bet the Giants.

**Mitch Moss** (3:13)
I'm with you. I thought about it, but it seems so obvious that I didn't. And now look at this, bottom of the first, I think it's the first two batters have reached base for the Giants. And there's no score. Web got didn't do anything, allowed nothing in the first inning.
And so they could score here early on to get a lead.

**Pauly Howard** (3:28)
When the Reds can't hit and they have one run in the series, and you can finally get a sweep, and Devers has been hot as well. So you're right about his numbers until that last start, but he also was on the Reds with an ERA under two, the last seven, to add to it.
