First Stage of Sonship - Nepios 10.11.26

Good afternoon, TSL, how's everyone doing today? All right, it's good to see y'all faces. Yes, it's been like 20 years since we've seen everybody. All right, we're going to go before the Lord in prayer. So if you can stand.

You can stand. We're going to go before the Lord in prayer. I'm going to read the scripture first to set the tone.

It's going to come from Galatians 4, verses 1 through 7 What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave. Although he owns the whole estate, the heir is subject to guardians and trustees until a time set by his father. So also when we were underage, we were in slavery until the element, elemental spiritual forces of the world. But when the set time had fully come, God sent his son born of a woman, born under the law to redeem those, the law that we might receive adoption to sonship. Because you are his son, God sent the spirit of his son into our hearts. The spirit who calls out Abba, Father. So you are no longer a slave, but God's child. And since you are his child, God has made you also an heir. So Father, we thank you. We thank you for the understanding of what it means to be an heir to you. We thank you for the understanding of what it means to be sonship. That this is not a position that we have to fight for. This is not a title that we have to create. It's nothing that we have to perform to do. Because we have been adopted, we are automatically in sonship. So we thank you for the sonship of the mind, the sonship of our language, the sonship of our eargates, the sonship of our eyes, oh God. We thank you for the sonship of the spirit, of the Holy Spirit that guides us, that teach us, that ensures that we are doing what we are called to do in the earth. Father, we thank you that not only were you born from a woman, but you show us the position of how things need to be, that we have to humble ourselves, that we still have to submit to some things in the earth, oh God, in the name of Jesus, because Jesus just didn't come from the divine heavens. In here, you chose to flow through a vessel, and that's what it means to be a sonship, to allow God to flow through us, allow God to use us in his capacity. Because we're no longer bound to the world, we're no longer bound to a system that the world have created, but we are bound to the kingdom of God. We are his bondsmen, we are connected to him, we are his sons and daughters in the earth. So Father, we thank you for this series of learning what it means to be sonship, what it looks like, what it feels like, what it tastes like, how to walk in, how to breathe in, how to digest it, how to cultivate it. God, we thank you today that we begin to surrender our hearts to you, to open up to a new way of learning more about you, to open up ways in how to surrender ourselves and allow you to break us in the areas where we need to be broken. Hallelujah, because we cannot be your sons and daughters walking in a perfect mindset. So we surrender right now and allow you to break us.

Break our own mindset, break how we choose to feel. Break how we choose to live. Break how we choose to communicate. Break us in how we choose to forgive. Break us in how we choose to want to reconcile in our preference.

Break us, Father, in how we choose to see people from our own distorted ways of life. Break the distorted within us. Break this perfectionism in us.

Break the worlds that we have created on the inside of us that has nothing to do with the kingdom. Break it.

Break it, Father. That is what I ask for today, that we be broken, so that we can walk in true sonship. So I declare today, God, no matter if we understand, if we don't, we say break us.

We breathe, break us, because we're not perfect. We don't have it all together. We're not working, walking straight every single moment and every single day. So break us, so that we can be your true sons and daughters here in the earth. And we thank you that we no longer have a slave mentality, but we have a sonship heart posture. In Jesus' name, Amen.
