Hi, this is Jim Scudder. Welcome back to InGrace. Yeah, we're talking about some scary things today, but these are things that are in the Bible. These are things that are important. I don't believe we can allegorize these objects, these things, these events. It's pretty clear that these are things that are coming upon this earth in the future. We are in Revelation chapter 8 today. We'll be starting in verse 8 Yesterday, we talked about the first trumpet of the seven trumpet judgments and the seventh seal, the preceding judgments that Jesus himself opened, the title deed of the earth. He was worthy to open the seals of this scroll, this title deed. He is taking back ownership. It's his, and we're kicking out the usurper. The sheriff has come to town and the one that is in here without permission is the devil, and he's getting kicked out. And the seventh seal opens up the seven trumpet judgments. So we, again, the first one was the hail and fire and blood, and you have all these trees burning up and the grass burning up. Today, we're gonna see the second, third, and fourth trumpet. And these are all cosmic, awful calamities. They're coming out, I believe, from space into the earth and affecting the earth in a horrible way. And you would think that people would say, hey, we're wrong, God, you're right, forgive us. But they don't, they shake their fist at God. And this is amazing to me. There's a day and a time when all humans and when all beasts and when all trees and when all creatures will die.

The judgment is clear. The Bible is clear. The first trumpet has sounded. Now the second trumpet in Revelation 8 verse 8 and 9, it says, And the second angel sounded, and as it were, a great mountain burning with fire. Now it doesn't say a great mountain burning with fire. It says as a great mountain burning with fire. And that means that this huge object is huge. It's as the size of a mountain and it's on fire. So I'm thinking massive meteor, right? Massive meteor is coming down, burning with fire, and cast into the sea. So what would happen if a big meteor hit the planet, especially into the ocean? Well, it would be cataclysmic, right? It would be a destruction. You would have tsunamis. You'd have aftershocks of even the atmosphere. It would just be unbelievable. And so this huge meteor hits the earth. Third part of the sea becomes blood. Now, I don't understand how that happened. I don't think there's any natural explanation for this, although I did call Dr. Ball yesterday and asked him about it. If anyone could see how this could naturally occur by some property that this meteor had, and how could saltwater turn into blood? It says became blood. It doesn't say like blood. It says became blood. So my assumption is the third part of the oceans have turned to blood. A third part of the creatures, verse 9, which were in the sea and had life died. I love the ocean. I love the sea. I like to snorkel and scuba dive and to look down and see the incredible beauty and variety of life. The oceans are full of life. But all of a sudden, a third of those creatures, whether they be corals or mollusks or fish or sharks or whatever, they happen to be a third of all living sea creatures are now dead and floating and stinking, okay? This would be a horrible, horrible thing. It said that these creatures died, verse nine, and the third part of the ships were destroyed. So how were the ships destroyed? I'm guessing it had to be the tsunami from the impact of this meteor. Does this sound familiar?
