Joe Rogan (0:00)

Two, one. One.

Eddie Bravo (0:07)

Here we go.

Brendan Schaub (0:09)

No one else has a drink?

No one else has a drinky drink? Come on, man. I'm gonna wait till you get yours.

SPEAKER_4 (0:19)

Yee-haw!

Bryan Callen (0:21)

Oh, shit.

Joe Rogan (0:22)

And we're live. Right when I'm, this is not a Corona cough, this is a marijuana cough.

Bryan Callen (0:29)

I think.

Joe Rogan (0:30)

You never know, dude. I haven't been tested. Get in there, Eddie Bravo, unless you're scared of a cootie. Oh, shit.

Pass that whiskey, son, what kind of whiskey did you bring? Pass that Blanton, son. That shit looks good.

Brendan Schaub (0:39)

Yeah, that's great.

Joe Rogan (0:40)

So we were all chilling at home under quarantine. Not really quarantine. LA is not under quarantine yet. But I hear word, I hear word that California and Washington State are gonna get the lockdown treatment.

Brendan Schaub (0:51)

For two weeks?

Joe Rogan (0:52)

I don't know, man. I don't know. I planned at home, I planned for a month.

I planned for a month of food.

Brendan Schaub (0:58)

Yeah, me too. I just stocked up like a dick.

Joe Rogan (0:59)

I have tons of meat, though. I'm gonna carnivore it to the end of the year, legitimately.

Brendan Schaub (1:04)

That's what I did.

Joe Rogan (1:04)

I drink creek water. I got a fuckin filter. I got a pump filter.

Brendan Schaub (1:07)

Do your kids eat it, though?

Joe Rogan (1:08)

Backpack campers. Yeah, they love it, man. My kids eat everything.

Brendan Schaub (1:10)

So, just everybody can be carnivore to The Joe Rogan House.

Joe Rogan (1:13)

They'll just have to.

I don't think it's gonna come to that. I really don't. I think if you look at the numbers, this is not a good cold. It's a dangerous one. It's a dangerous one because it kills the fuck out of old people, but so does a bad flu. And it's different than a bad flu in some people's accounts in that it's causing some serious damage. What do you got there, Jamie?

Oh, it causes damage to lungs, permanent damage.

Brendan Schaub (1:40)

You hear it on both ends though, you know? Like you hear one expert says it's, how terrible it's going to be. You hear another expert goes, it's actually go about your life, but just wash your hands, be cautious, go about your life though. You hear both ends of it.

Joe Rogan (1:52)

There's a good article in the Atlantic. There's a good article in the Atlantic about it. And the article in the Atlantic was basically saying, we're all going to get it. And one of the reasons why this is a really tricky one is that the symptoms don't show up for a while. So you could be contagious for a long time.

Brendan Schaub (2:06)

I swear I had it three weeks ago.

Joe Rogan (2:07)

It doesn't kill people quick. See, the thing about that avian flu that they put the kibosh to, that was a really deadly one. It killed 60 percent of the people that got it. So China acted immediately. They killed something like a million, 500,000 chickens. It's all in this article and they just shut everything down. They're like, this is something that's going to fucking kill half the population, like legitimately kill half the population.

Brendan Schaub (2:29)

There's an article in Washington Post that gets like a bunch of experts and kind of what the things they agree on about the coronavirus. And when you read that, it makes you feel better.

Joe Rogan (2:39)

Yeah.

Brendan Schaub (2:40)

Now granted, a lot of people, a lot of it is up in the air. They don't know.

Joe Rogan (2:44)

Well, what scares me is what's going on in France, because Jake Tapper just tweeted that some large number, more than 50 percent of the cases that are serious, like hospitalization, are people that are under 60, which is very unusual. Because the other people in other places, they're tweeting, they're reporting that it's mostly old people, or people with underlying health conditions.

Brendan Schaub (3:09)

Weak immune systems.

Joe Rogan (3:10)

Yeah, weak immune systems, people with high blood pressure.

But you know, you really stop and look at the numbers of just the flu, and this is supposed to be way worse than the flu. But if you look at the numbers for the flu, the flu kills a fuckload of people.

Brendan Schaub (3:21)

Flu's a motherfucker.

Eddie Bravo (3:22)

Like 50,000 a year. Just in the United States.

Brendan Schaub (3:25)

Hey, cheers, boys.

Joe Rogan (3:27)

Cheers.

Brendan Schaub (3:27)
