A couple of months ago, it was saying no one should ever use menopause hormone therapy because it causes breast cancer. It's like old data.
Old data has been disproven. And it creates that fear.

**Hailey** (0:11)
That's a problem. That's a problem.

**Stacy Sims** (0:14)
Right. But if you've ever seen anything written by Claude, it's through that male lens, and it always puts them in first. It's like, we've got to fight that.

**Hailey** (0:23)
Hi everyone, my name is Hailey.

**Laura** (0:25)
And this is Laura.

**Hailey** (0:26)
And welcome to The Body Pod.
All right, Selene and Stacey, welcome to this special edition of The Body Pod. This has been my dream to have both of you on. So welcome to The Body Pod.

**Selene Yeager** (0:43)
Thank you.

**Stacy Sims** (0:44)
I'm excited. It's like a friend reunion.

**Hailey** (0:46)
It's a friend reunion. And I'm actually, I'm so glad I got to see Stacey for a little bit. But Selene, I got zero time minus the awkward hug that we had to do with the randos.

**Selene Yeager** (0:58)
Dude. Yeah, that was...

**Hailey** (1:01)
Nobody do that ice breaker ever again. Stacey, we had to hug somebody for 20 seconds. Where?

**Selene Yeager** (1:08)
Well... It was so weird.

**Hailey** (1:09)
Your neighbor. That was like the ice breaker.

**Selene Yeager** (1:11)
You were in the green room at the time. Thank you. You were very glad that you were in the green room. Because I can't agree. Oh, was it the woman who was the emcee?

**Hailey** (1:22)
Yes, the emcee. Yes.

**Selene Yeager** (1:23)
The emcee. Yeah, that was awkward. Yeah, so she literally, sorry, literally, I'll behave.
She had us, we did have to hug someone. We were supposed to do, and 20 seconds is an eternity. I mean, if you're in a boxing ring and somebody is punching you for 20 seconds, go see what that feels like. Hug a stranger for 20 seconds.

**Hailey** (1:46)
Yeah.

**Selene Yeager** (1:46)
But, you know, we got to connect for 20 seconds.

**Stacy Sims** (1:50)
20 seconds.

**Hailey** (1:52)
20 seconds.

**Stacy Sims** (1:54)
Yeah.

**Hailey** (1:55)
Well, speaking of the conference, let's go over. This was probably my favorite conference that I've been to. Number one, because I got to see Stacey on stage.
But obviously all of the guests were amazing. Jane Fonda and Stacey. This was like the most iconic moment ever to have Jane Fonda, Stacey being able to interview Jane. And Jane crushing on you.

**Selene Yeager** (2:20)
Well, that's what I was just ready to say. That was the highlight for me. I mean, there were many highlights of that moment. But like Jane being excited to show the stage with you because her trainer, was it because of the trainer connections?

**Stacy Sims** (2:35)
Yeah.
Well, I'm like, well, when they asked me to interview her, I was like, I've not been on the interviewer part. I've only been on the interviewee part. So digging into her background and finding so much information about her that no one knew. And then she blew through all my questions like the first five minutes. But it was fun.

**Hailey** (2:55)
She did. She did. But it was just kind of like this iconic moment of Jane being this massive fitness figure and then Stacy taking over the reins. It was kind of my, that's how I took it, was this like passing of the.

**Stacy Sims** (3:11)
Oh, cool. Thanks.

**Hailey** (3:13)
Yeah. It was pretty, it was pretty cool. So I was a big fan of that.

**Selene Yeager** (3:17)
She like literally got on the floor and everybody was just like, is she going to get up? Is this going to be okay?
Because she's 88 years old and is an amazing champion. Those heels on. I don't even wear heels like that. But it was just like, I was able to get that great shot of you like, cause she was fine to get off the floor, but she dropped the mic, right? Her little mic that was on the back of her pant waistband. So you helping her sort of like fix that back up while she was getting up was, it was, it was really great. And everybody, I think that was probably everybody's highlight cause people were riveted. It was a very quiet and you can feel the engagement in the air. People were very, very into that whole conversation. It could have gone.

**Stacy Sims** (4:00)
Could have gone sideways.

**Selene Yeager** (4:02)
I was going to say it could have gone much longer, but I'm sure it could have gone sideways.

**Stacy Sims** (4:07)
But yeah, it could have gone longer.
