Easy, sold my car on Carvana, amazing offer. Really?

**Sam** (0:06)
I hit 200 on a scratcher.

**Lisa Bilyeu** (0:08)
Did the scratcher come to your house and hand you a check?

**Sam** (0:10)
No.

**Lisa Bilyeu** (0:11)
How many scratchers did you hit to get that?

**Sam** (0:13)
I hit a button on carvana.com once. Okay, that's fair.

**Lisa Bilyeu** (0:17)
It's like the lottery, except you always win.

**Sam** (0:20)
Not like the lottery at all, actually.

**Lisa Bilyeu** (0:22)
Exactly, inexplicably good. Offer's worth bragging about. Sell your car today on Carvana. Pick up Vee's May Apply.
Welcome back to Women of Impact. If you thought the first half was wild, you better sell it in because in part two, we're walking straight into the freaking lion's den. We went from can you actually trust your friend to could you survive if one of them decided you betrayed them?
Now, Kanika is lifting the lid on all the psychological traps that keep women stuck, and she knows them because she uses them. Not just in friendships, but in romantic relationships and love stories that feel like a freaking war zone. So here's what you'll leave with knowing today, the psychological cages that psychopaths build, the guilt trips, obligation bombs, and how they actually make you question your own reality. Once you understand the cages, you can literally walk free. But this part is where you have to make sure that you pay attention and you actually get it, because this could be literally a potential emotional life or death. Then we go into the moment that you realize kindness was strings attached, and how to actually break free without burning down your life. Sometimes we think they're wilder people, we will put them on a pedestal, we think, oh my god, they're so lovely. But sometimes it's actually a strategy. This will allow you to know when it is. Then we go into the relationship tactics that sociopaths use to hook you, keep you guessing and make sure that you're never the same once you're discarded. Guys, if you've been a fan of Women of Impact for a while, as you know, we've gone over a lot of psychopaths and the science and the narcissist, but the sociopath, this was fascinating, especially when it came to friendships and relationships. So if you've ever, ever, ever wondered why you keep getting played and you don't realize what is going on, if you're scared of being the next target because you've seen it happen to someone else, or if you just want to actually reclaim your damn power, this episode is for you. So let's get into it right now, right here on Women of Impact.
Okay. I'd like to move on now to something that you call reputational warfare.

**Kanika Batra** (2:30)
Okay. So your audience might hate me for this, but can the solace?

**Lisa Bilyeu** (2:35)
All right.

**Kanika Batra** (2:36)
That's exactly how you do that successfully. Everything that she said about Erica, nothing is rooted in facts or evidence of any kind. The smearing that she's doing. So that whole campaign that she's currently doing, her 10 months of tormenting Erica, that is a successful scheme.

**Lisa Bilyeu** (2:55)
Wow. Yeah. So what does that look like even within friends groups? Have you actually even been in a situation? Oh, do you mind telling us?

**Kanika Batra** (3:03)
So I've been able to say, this person's a big racist or this person's very bigoted and homophobic. Even though they not necessarily are, it just affects their reputation. People don't want to be around them anymore. People think that, oh, this is a hateful person. So they start losing their friends. They start losing people around them. And then by that point, you started spreading sort of hatred about them to different people. So it's no longer just you. They feel the onslaught of everybody.

**Lisa Bilyeu** (3:34)
When you're in it though, because that was actually a very good explanation, a good example that I think a lot of us women can see. I've been in girl groups where it's like something just fills off and you have one argument with one of them and everyone else turns you. Yeah, you're like, what the fuck just happened?

**Kanika Batra** (3:49)
Then they create a new group chat and you're not in it.

**Lisa Bilyeu** (3:51)
Yeah.

**Kanika Batra** (3:52)
Women are vicious like that.

**Lisa Bilyeu** (3:54)
Some women can be. And I'm on a fucking mission to get rid of the vicious women and bring in all the like, hey, look, we're not all going to agree. We're not all going to be the same. We're not all going to have the same views, but can we at least support each other if we're all trying to do the best thing we can?
