This is kind of like it adjacent, but obviously this is happening at the same time here.
Super Mike asks, sort of related to this, I'm curious what your guys' thoughts are on the DLC end game re-release in September. What are you hoping the added time will be? Should this be a new version, become the definitive end game? And just your thoughts on the practice of retroactively changing past movies to make them adapt to the current story changes. I think there's about seven minutes of like stuff added to this apparently. It's going, I'll try and find, there was like a full list of stuff. There's definitely a new end credit, but before I find the whole list, Dylan, what do you think about this practice here?
**Dylan** (0:38)
I think that's the first I'm hearing about this occurring.
It's kind of exciting for me, I guess. Yeah, I'm gonna definitely plan to, I suppose, re-watch not all the MC movies, that's a lot of them, but I re-watch a few of them and to test the patient of Doomsday and get some free DLC on there. Sure, why not? I don't know what I'm hoping for. I think if I knew this was happening, I could have thought about it in advance. But off the top of my head, I mean, I love those two movies. I can't think of anything that's particularly missing.
**SPEAKER_1** (1:05)
This was just going to be the theaters though, just before you commit.
**Dylan** (1:09)
Well, I mean, it'll be on Disney Plus at some point though, right?
**SPEAKER_1** (1:12)
Probably after the movie. I think they're going to want to get your money. Oh, so here, this is what the intro is.
They want more money. The end game, it's called Avengers End Game Encore, where we'll probably feature a new info, sorry, a new intro, bonus scenes, an end sequence that connects directly to Avengers Doomsday. It's going to be seven minutes longer than the original, but yes, it will be in theaters. So I think it will be on Disney Plus after.
**Dylan** (1:39)
After Doomsday, what could that be?
**Kirkland** (1:41)
Was it Infinity War when they released the extra footage version of the movie, and it was like an un-CGI scene?
**SPEAKER_1** (1:48)
Yeah, the whole thing.
**Kirkland** (1:50)
I remember going to see that. Love the movie, obviously, and then afterwards it plays, and there was just a couple of guys behind us, and it's not a very long scene whatsoever, it's probably like a minute or something, and just someone was like, well, I'm glad that wasn't in the movie.
I wonder if it'll be very similar, where it's just completely untouched CGI.
**Dylan** (2:07)
Seven minutes is quite a lot of stuff, I feel like.
**SPEAKER_1** (2:11)
Yeah. Are you going to the theaters to see that though, Dylan?
**Dylan** (2:14)
Me? No. Okay.
**SPEAKER_1** (2:16)
Because at first you sound really like, oh, I'm committed. I'm like, there's no way Dylan's going to see the seven minutes of Endgame War.
**Dylan** (2:22)
No. Not in theaters, no. Yeah.
**SPEAKER_1** (2:24)
So you don't like this then as a practice, then if they're trying to do that, right? Trying to add some stuff to the movies.
**Dylan** (2:29)
I don't really care. I'll watch it on Disney Plus when it's there, or when it's not. I'll watch the new scenes on YouTube. So it doesn't really bother me at all. I think it's a, hey, they're giving you an actual incentive to go back and see this thing. I don't know. I think it's totally fine.
**SPEAKER_1** (2:42)
Yeah.
**Dylan** (2:42)
No problem with that.
**SPEAKER_1** (2:43)
Well, you Kirkland. You saw the Endgame release already, so you can go see it again for another bonus scene.
**Kirkland** (2:49)
It entirely depends on the quality of the murmurs of what this could potentially be. I think.
I really don't know.
I don't know. I think I go where the wind takes me, and on a Wednesday, I could be thinking, I am thinking one way on Friday, and Friday comes around, and I'm completely thinking something else. So ask me again closer to. I have no idea. I think initially, no. You guys did make a point like seven minutes is decent amount of time. I do really enjoy those movies. But time is a fleeting thing these days, and I'm stretched pretty thin like Bilbo. So I'm definitely not going to commit to that at this point in time.
**SPEAKER_1** (3:32)
It's the Morassas Doomsday 250 It's 2.45 as of right now. So it's the longest movie in this saga.
And I think it's the third or second longest Avengers. I think it's the second longest Avengers movie because Endgame is over three hours. But I think it's the second longest. So it's a girthy movie. They're putting a lot of stuff in there, which they should, right? So, Taylor, how you feel about this Encore release thing?
