Welcome to The Ringer Fantasy Football Show. My name is Danny Heifetz and I am joined by Danny Kelly. Today, we will once again be joined by Josh Norris and Hayden Winks from Yahoo Fantasy Football. Cause Craig is on vacation in Hawaii. We had Josh and Hayden on while Craig was out. And we had such a good time. And they were so good that we actually just went long enough that we split it into two parts. So part one, we published last week. This is going to be part two of our favorite players entering this season. It's our favorite picks relative to value. And honestly, the most important players in fantasy this year. So we hope you enjoy the episode. And then Craig will be back this week. And then we will get to hot quarterbacks.

**Craig Horlbeck** (2:25)
Because Craig is back.

**Danny Heifetz** (2:26)
Yeah, we will return. We can't do hot quarterbacks without Craig. So that's a promise we made when he left. So without further ado, part two with Josh and Hayden, favorite players.
All right, let's get to the show.

**DK** (2:39)
Well, wait, what about the live show?

**Danny Heifetz** (2:42)
Yes, live show. Also, yes, live show Thursday, August 27th. We still have some tickets left. If you're in Southern California, live show Thursday, August 27th. Tickets are in the episode description. The link, your Earl as DK calls it, the ringer.com/events. And yes, go grab tickets to the live show Thursday, August 27th. Now we can get to the show.
A similar-ish player to Jalen Hurts, not necessarily physically, but questions about whether they can run an offense or whatever. Hayden, you said Kyler Murray for the Vikings was one of your favorite. DK, what are we calling this episode?

**DK** (3:16)
Sleepers, favorite players, players who want to call them off.

**Danny Heifetz** (3:20)
Hayden, your sleeper-slash-value quarterback is Kyler Murray, who I think there's similar questions of can they just, do they have to play to their style because they can't see over the line of scrimmage or can they run whatever offense? He's in Minnesota. Why do you like Kyler so much this year?

**Hayden Winks** (3:31)
I just like Kevin O'Connell and Justin Jefferson. I mean, it's just been a print fest. It doesn't matter who it was. I remember Sam Darnold, how egregious he was. And then he was the quarterback eight in this offense. Kurt Cousins was the quarterback seven with Kevin O'Connell for over years. Nick Mullins was the quarterback eight when he got his starts. Josh Dobbs literally off of a private jet comes into the facility and doesn't even know the playbook.
He averaged almost 18 fantasy points per game as well. The offensive line is healthier this year. Kyler Murray has been a fantasy quarterback. All those guys I just mentioned, they don't run. Like that was all passing stuff. Kyler Murray runs unlike those guys. But we can just get some semblance of the passing numbers that those offenses last four years have done with Minnesota plus 30-ish rush yards per game, which Kyler Murray's averaged.
This is a layup line, quarterback one. So again, best ball, it's a little trickier because in theory he could get benched. In a redraft, even if he does get benched halfway through the season, you just pick up somebody else. The quarterback's really deep. So to me, it's like that's the thing, is there's like maybe like 15 to 20 quarterbacks. I do think you could start in week one in fantasy. So if you want to just load up and win the flex, and then you just kind of double dip, Kyler Murray, Jackson Dart, Kyler Murray with Dak Prescott, you name the combination. I do think that's how I'm kind of playing it in redraft, just because like this depth is so obvious this year with a lot of young players. But I think, you know, Kyler Murray throwing the ball to Justin Jefferson versus Marvin Harrison. I think it's going to make a pretty big difference.
