Can we just start by saying, wow, what a freaking game. 59 points by the Bears. And you talk about how they did it. Josh, 70 plays, 552 yards, 7.9 yards per play for the Chicago Bears. And if you would have told me that was going to happen coming into the week, I would have been like Loveland smash, the Doon Day smash, Burden smash. I think they combined for a grand total of seven receptions between the three pass catchers there. But just Chicago, this was such a great game plan by Ben Johnson and the Bears. You would think that they just went around and threw the ball all over the place. 55% rush rates, a 44% pass rate, 48% neutral pass rate for the Bears. They had two 100-yard rushers in this matchup, and they set a litany of records. 96 combined points, most in NFL history for Week 1 The Bears, 291 rushing yards and six touchdowns since 1999 This is only the second team performance combining six plus rushing TDs with two 100-yard rushers joining the 2017 Saints.
