Fantasy Football Finale! (2025 Season Awards, Playoff Picks, & Laughs)

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the season finale of the Belly Up Fantasy Live Football Show on the Belly Up Sports Network. I'm Vince Stover, host of The Sports Stove Football Show. To my left, right beside me, someone who is used to being second to me in fantasy sports, Kevin Wilson is sitting here, the champion in his own league and in his own right here in the football season. Kevin, how you doing, man?

Kevin Wilson (0:50)

I'm doing great, Vince. So we had a great Christmas here. And of course, New Year's is right around the corner. So we're looking for a great 2026 So we're doing great here and just looking really forward to getting into this final episode.

Vince Stover (1:05)

For sure. And you won one league, correct?

Kevin Wilson (1:08)

I did. And it's a little different because in this league and the other one I'm in, I led them both in points.

Vince Stover (1:17)

Oh, nice.

Kevin Wilson (1:18)

Okay. But in the other league, I was the number one seed and went all the way to the championship. In our league, I also was number one in points score against and nowhere near the playoffs.

So it just goes to show that you need a little luck to get to the championship. But it was fun the whole way. And of course, I enjoyed being on the show and talking about all the fantasy stuff. But I did win one. And I was the defending champion in that particular league. So I've won it back to back year. So I'm quite pleased with how it worked out over there.

Vince Stover (2:00)

He's a dynasty, my friends. To his left, speaking of the Unluck of the Irish, it's the one and only Brian Germinaro. Brian, how are you doing, man?

Brian Germinaro (2:10)

I'm doing well. You know, I wanted to be, you know, it's my first year covering Fantasy Football. So I thought it'd be fun if the rookie won the Fantasy League. That didn't turn out to be the case, but you know, few men in this world can say they beat a computer. I beat a computer. So you know what? We take what we can get.

Vince Stover (2:28)

That's right. Challenging all year long, Rotobot AI, who has been part of our program, I think all season, if not most of the season.

Brian Germinaro (2:37)

Most of it, yeah.

Vince Stover (2:38)

This year. And we've competed all year. And Brian defeated Rotobot AI.

Brian Germinaro (2:45)

Me, the person from Terminator and Dwight Schrute.

Vince Stover (2:47)

That's right. All the most important men in the world right there as well. So I got beat. I had a brutal loss in the championship in a league. My 14 year old son and I went head to head. Coming into the final night, Monday night, I was winning by one point and what happened was he had Bijon Robinson. I had Blake Coram.

Kevin Wilson (3:19)

I saw that you posted that.

Vince Stover (3:21)

There's a small chance. And then when Bijon busted off his 93 yard touchdown, I said, it's done.

He's happy. He won and he's happy that I lost and all those kinds of good things as well. Well, guys, it's not just the three of us tonight. For the start of the show, we felt it was important that we brought in someone that really just sets the standard for fantasy football play in the world. He is someone who battled our very own Brian Germinaro for a championship. He is someone who is skilled in the sport of football, yet still dominated in the sport of fantasy football all season long. Of course you do. You were skilled the whole way.

Oh, yeah. I think it's one, I will say I'm more than just a soccer guy. Obviously, you know, Vince, of course, knows that I do follow other sports. But yeah, it was it was comical. But I'm a humble champion. I haven't been gloating at all. It's not like I posted anything on social media, making fun of any of the guys that cover American football here in the States. But hey, it was an amazing season. Who would have thought going 0-3 would wind up winning the championship.

So belief, that's all I got to say.
