Well, it is Mother's Day. Thank you so much for being here. Can we make some noise for all the moms in the room, please?
We're going to take just a week break from our series. We're going to talk about moms today. And I thought it would be interesting just to get some different perspectives. And so, Daniel, your mom was in the video, and you mentioned this backstage. And so, I'm curious, when she said that she dressed y'all alike, what was your... What's a memory of that? What's an outfit maybe that comes to mind immediately when your mom used to make you guys all wear the same kind of clothes? So, we have a... My sister's a winner. We have a picture up in our house. I think I was a lot smaller.

**SPEAKER_1** (1:08)
A lot smaller.

**Kevin** (1:10)
I have a very nice green suit with like some black shoes, and I think I had some green socks.
And... What color green was it?

**SPEAKER_1** (1:21)
It was...

**Kevin** (1:21)
Because I'm picturing lime green. Is anybody else picturing lime green?
No, it was like a hunter green. Hunter green. Thanks, Jess.

**SPEAKER_1** (1:31)
We all wore shades of green. That's...

**Kevin** (1:34)
And we got older to like black.
I got you. Does your sister do that with her kids? They're all matching today. Interesting. We're going to carry it on down. All right. And I do want to bring a little bit of clarity. My mama said that she used the chancla growing up. That is not true. She never once got her shoe after me.
And some of you are like, what did he say? What is that? The chancla is something that typically Mexican families or Mexican moms and grandmas use. So if you ever watch them grab for their shoes, somebody's going to whoop in. And that chancla will fly at you also. So if you try to outrun the whooping, the chancla will catch you. So she did not do that. I could get spankings, but she never got the chancla out after me. So let's talk for a moment. Lex, what is one of your favorite things about your mom? Can I say two things?
Yes, I have a cool mom. She's right here and I have a very cool mom.

**SPEAKER_1** (2:37)
Can I say two things?

**Kevin** (2:38)
One's serious, the other one's like not. OK, go. The first one's not very serious. My mom's actually really funny.
She's really, guys, I'm so serious. She's really funny. My dad will tell you that she's not funny. And you can tell by his face right now. My mom is really funny, but not when she's trying to be, which is really funny. OK. And then on a more serious note, my mom is always available. And I think that's my favorite thing about her is that I know that even if she's like grading papers and stressed out on our couch, I can sometimes say like, mom, this thing happened today, I need to talk to you and she'll put everything down. And she'll talk to me and she'll pray with me. I think that's my favorite thing.
All right, Kendra, we saw you and Alex in the announcement video, and I hope that he was, you know, hugging you in between services. All right, good, good. He's not in here now, so we can continue. I don't see Alex, he's normally right over there. So if you see Alex, if you could encourage him to continue to give his mom hugs, that's one of the things that she would enjoy. So what is one of your favorite things about being a mom, Kendra?

**SPEAKER_1** (3:53)
Such a loaded question. There's so many favorite things. Being a mom is probably the greatest thing in the world. But one of the best things that fills me, and especially right now, is when he gives me his burdens, when he comes to me, when he's hurting, and when he needs me to support him, my favorite thing in the world is being that support and being that. And just the godly conversations, just all that, just sitting there and him trusting me to take it to god. I mean, it's, that's beyond my, it's, oh, it's great. My heart, I could talk about it forever, but I know I'm on a time limit.

**Kevin** (4:33)
That's awesome. All right, Daniel, what is one quality of your mom that you see in yourself? That's tough.
