The Drew Lane Show

June 12, 2026

The World Cup kicks off, pandemonium at Madison Square Garden, a brand-new Bonerline, Tom Mazawey hot takes, Corey Feldman Q&A, and Prince Harry: Most Influential Man in Sports. NBA Finals: The New York Knicks had an unbelievable comeback victory against the San Antonio Spurs.
Speakers: Drew Lane, Marc Fellhauer, Jim Bentley, BranDon, Trudi Daniels, Tom Mazawey, Roberto
**Drew Lane** (0:01)
Six seconds remaining.

**Marc Fellhauer** (0:02)
Brunson gets it, fires up a three.

**Drew Lane** (0:05)
Shot no good, the chip, it's gone. It's gone. It's gone.
That's it. It's over. The greatest comeback in NBA playoff history.

**Jim Bentley** (0:14)
Bedlam here at the Garden.

**Marc Fellhauer** (0:16)
They can't believe it.

**BranDon** (0:17)
Sweet sassy molassie.

**Marc Fellhauer** (0:21)
Holy crap, what a game. Oh my God. One of the greatest sporting events, team sporting events I think I've ever seen, and I'm sure a lot of people are saying, especially Knicks fans. They came back from a 29-point deficit to beat the San Antonio Spurs in game four, 107 to 106 The Spurs led by 29 points in the third corner, and they were up 20 points with 933 left.
Of course, they got a seven foot four center by the name of Wemba Yana, who is probably the most, I don't know, to me, he's the most dominant player, probably the most exciting player since Luel Sindor, who turned into Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

**Trudi Daniels** (0:59)
How tall?

**Marc Fellhauer** (1:00)
Seven foot four.

**Trudi Daniels** (1:01)
It's just amazing how his body moves being that tall.

**Marc Fellhauer** (1:04)
Oh, he hits three point shots. He's a good three point shooter.
Will Chamberlain never did that. I mean, Will couldn't even make a free throw. This guy shoots 83%, well, unless it's late in the game in the NBA Finals. But the Knicks outscored the Spurs 32-11 over the last 933 of the game. And then with five seconds left, Wemba Yana was covering, this might be a strategic error, Wemba, 7'4, was covering Brunson, the guard who's probably, what, 6'2, or maybe less.
And so he wasn't underneath the basket. Why don't we play a replay now, actually, the big play of the game?

**Trudi Daniels** (1:38)
Oh, the...

**Marc Fellhauer** (1:40)
The game winner?

**Trudi Daniels** (1:41)
The game winner.

**Marc Fellhauer** (1:42)
Yeah, by Oji Ananobe, who I'd never heard of, by the way, until I watched the Finals. This is quite a play, 5.7 seconds left. The Knicks are down one point in inbounding the ball.
Nobody covering the inbounder, by the way.

**Trudi Daniels** (1:57)
Let me see if this is... I'm so con...
I had them all queued up and then we jumped to like number five, bro.

**Marc Fellhauer** (2:04)
Well, you want to play them? We can play them in order.

**Tom Mazawey** (2:06)
Brunson, allow him to operate at the top, 101

**Marc Fellhauer** (2:08)
Brunson gets it, fires up a three.

**Tom Mazawey** (2:11)
Shot, no go to the tip.

**Drew Lane** (2:12)
It's gone! It's gone! It's gone! With 1.2 remaining, Knicks take the lead. Ogiann and Nobby, and it's 107-106.
Oh, the garden goes wild.

**Marc Fellhauer** (2:27)
By the way, all those shots they had of Taylor Swift jumping up and down in slow motion.

**Trudi Daniels** (2:32)
There's Seinfeld. There's the Sandman.

**Marc Fellhauer** (2:35)
Jerry's in shock.

**Drew Lane** (2:37)
There's Taylor and the girls.

**Marc Fellhauer** (2:38)
Briscoe Hargitay and the girls.

**Trudi Daniels** (2:41)
The Haines sisters.

**Drew Lane** (2:42)
It just came up short.

**Marc Fellhauer** (2:46)
There's Larry Dave and John McEnroe.

**Tom Mazawey** (2:48)
Robinson will guard Wim Bynjama.

**Marc Fellhauer** (2:50)
They got 1.2 seconds left. They're getting him on the ball. I don't know why they didn't throw up an alley hoop for Wim Bynjama, who's seven foot four here. I don't understand why they wouldn't do that. No timeouts left.

**Tom Mazawey** (2:58)
They have to get it in.

**Marc Fellhauer** (3:00)
It's like a mini. Castle hasn't lost it. This is a shitty pass.

**Drew Lane** (3:04)
Came over and the Knicks win. Oh my God. The greatest comeback ever.

**Marc Fellhauer** (3:10)
It was. It was like the greatest comeback ever. I mean, honestly, the Patriots being down 28 to three.

**Trudi Daniels** (3:14)
That's pretty amazing.

**Marc Fellhauer** (3:15)
That was pretty incredible. But what an amazing comeback. And so many little things happen in the course of a game like that when it's down to the last second. The first crazy thing that happened was with a couple minutes left. Is that your first cut, Brandon, when the guy missed the layup?
The Knicks were down by one point with two minutes left. And they stole the ball. And you don't even have to play the highlight if you can't find it. But it was a... Highlight, though.

**Drew Lane** (3:41)
Here we go. He tried to bring him up.

**SPEAKER_8** (3:43)
Now, Carl Anthony down.

**Drew Lane** (3:45)
But frozen away! Josh Hart, ahead of the pack, lays it up.
Oh, he was all alone. He missed the layup! Two minutes left.
