Welcome back everyone. Today on The Joseph Carlson Show, the agentic war has begun. Companies like Amazon are blocking Meta's Muse. And Meta, well, the stock is taking off. It is up 8% on the day, which puts me right now $11,000 in the green on Meta stock. This is a company that we went from minus $30,000 in the red to now $11,000 in the green in only 30 days. The sentiment shift is happening for Meta. A new story is unfolding. We have the news bashing Meta's new product, Meta Muse, which is predictable. We have the bank's upgrading Meta now, turning a new leaf on it, saying now the stock is way undervalued. And of course, we're going to be going into Amazon blocking Meta. Amazon says it's blocked Muse over security and privacy concerns. Of course, that is not the real reason. We'll be going over the real reasons Amazon is blocking Meta and what Meta is going to do about it. And of course, we have the fail of the week, which is Andrew Yang, who went on to another viral interview on CNBC, said more doomish things that are just not true. They're not even real. He's just making stuff up on TV. We'll be going over it. And we have a fail of the week update with Gene Munster. We highlighted him as the fail of the week a month ago, when he came out bearish on Meta. So we have a ton to get to in this episode. And before we jump in, just a quick reminder, if you haven't tried out qualtrum.com, I think you're missing out. I built the website for you.
It runs at a low price, $10 a month with the free trial. You can try it out. It's super fun. You get access to an entire investment suite. You have the entire website, earnings transcripts, discounted cash flow. You also get access to exclusive content with Qualtrum Studio. And you get access to a private community with over 10,000 active investors. In fact, the membership has now climbed around 13,000. We have a massive community now because so many people have tried out Qualtrum and they like it. So I think you're missing out if you haven't. The other thing I'll mention is I've been working on a mobile app and it's awesome. It is literally my favorite stock analysis app. And we're going to be releasing that probably next month. So lots of cool things coming. Try out Qualtrum if you haven't. Now we kick things off today looking at the massive jump in Meta stock price. Right now Meta stock is up 8.59%.
Now there's no guarantee it will hold, but it looks like it's going to. It looks like Meta investors are very excited about whatever is going on right now. What could be going on with Meta to cause the stock to jump this much from the pre-market into the trading day? And it continues to go up with momentum.
In fact, Meta stock has been one of the best stocks over the past month. If you look at the past one month, it's up 33% now. Meta has raced up from $534 to now trading at $722, so it's gaining hundreds of dollars in share price. It's been one of the best performers in the market over the past 30 days. And there's been a couple things to cause this. First of all, when we look at Meta just on the surface, a month ago, it was trading on an incredibly low PE ratio. On a forward basis, it was just cheap. It was also growing quickly. And that's just a good situation. Cheap company growing quickly. The other thing that you have to factor in is the quality of the company, the moat, how defensible it is. When I looked at Meta, I considered it to be one of the widest and deepest moats in the market.
