Jägermeister knows that there's people who watch the game and people who know the game. Knowers know rivalries aren't heated. They're ice cold.

They know rankings change. Traditions don't. And they know that when you drink Jägermeister on game day, you drink it ice cold. Otherwise, you just don't know the game.

So drink it ice cold or don't drink it at all. Jägermeister. Damn, that's cold. Drink responsibly. Jägermeister Liqueur 35% alcohol by volume. Imported by Mass Jägermeister US, White Plains, New York.

Byrum Brown had some good and some bad in week one. Hopefully, in week two, we'll see way more good. I think we will.

Welcome on into The Auburn Express, powered by The War Rapport. I'm your host, Mike G. Turn us on, turn us up, we'll turn it out. I'm here with my good friend, Kyle Rush from The Auburn Daily, talking a little Auburn football here on a Wednesday morning. On today's show, Kyle, we're gonna talk more about what Alex Golesh saw when he looked at his Auburn Tigers. I'm talking Eric Winters and both sides of Byrum Brown, the good and the bad from the Baylor game. And then what that means for Southern Miss, of course. Guys, don't forget to like and subscribe to the channel, the likes and subscribes help keep us one of the number one sources of Auburn Football content out there. Also, subscribe on podcast. Alex Golesh spoke to the media as he does at the beginning of every game week. And on yesterday's show, I went over, you know, I went over Elijah Melendez's play. We talked about Bryce Kane and the offensive line. But I want to start with the touchdown run by Byrum Brown. A lot of folks on social media noted Jeremiah Cobb had a monster block to help spring Byrum on that. Byrum saw it. He was patient. This was the Byrum Brown I thought we'd see for most of the game versus Baylor.

I get kind of credit for Baylor for slowing it down. I hate giving Baylor credit for anything. Well, let's listen to what Alex Golesh had to say about what he saw on the Byrum Brown touchdown run.

Alex Golesh (4:22)

Yeah. I thought Jeremiah Cobb's block was as big time as big time gets. I thought Jeremiah just in general played his butt off and just the nature of the game.

I wish we could have gotten him going a little bit more and we will hear as we go, but you talk about throwing it in there for a running back lead blocking for somebody, that was about as impressive as anybody. I thought Jake blocked well all day.

He did a really nice job there. The interior, that old line did a good job. It was Jack and it was Cole and it was Kayla Ellis at the other guard spot for those guys to come in and certainly create a spark there was absolutely huge. But big time, Cobb being the lead on that was really good. Keyshawn Singleton too, finishing it on the goal line was big as well.
