This is Unnis on Oppas, a fan podcast where we talk about Korean dramas and the actresses and actors that make up Korean dramas, especially the leading men of Kdramas, also known as our Kdrama boyfriends, also known as Oppas.
**Susie** (0:23)
And we are your metaphorical big sisters, aka Unnis. I am Susie.
**Lynn** (0:30)
And I am Lynn. And before we start the episode proper, we always like to pause and reflect for a moment on something or someone that has made it possible for us to be here today. So Susie, in this episode, to whom would you like to say Jal Meogisseubnida?
**Susie** (0:46)
I want to thank Kim Sejong.
Because she has dominated my Kdrama viewing this week.
In a couple of things, which you will hear in a little bit. But you know, I like her so much. I really need to watch so many other things that she's in. And a delightful thing also is she, you know, debuted with, okay, I'm not going to quote this, don't quote this. But I will say she was in one of these, like, competitions to create a group. And so she was chosen among a lot, there's like a lot of these ladies. I don't even know how many of them. And it's a group called IOI. And I think it was the first group she was in, because then she was in another group called Gugudan. And then I think after that she like went solo.
But IOI is about to have like some kind of anniversary. So all the members who have like scattered with the wind are coming back together to have like an anniversary album. And they've like released lots of little videos of them like dancing to the song and stuff. So I have really enjoyed that. And like just another thing that reminds me that Kim Sejeong is great. She is great. She is cute. And I really enjoy watching her. And this week, she was the main focus, as I were. And she just showed up in all the things that I watched this week. So thank you, Kim Sejeong, for like making the time worthwhile. Watching these things.
**Lynn** (2:41)
Yes. So delightful.
Well, I would like to thank one of our stalwarts that have been thanked many times, but we are still so grateful to the people at Drama Beans that make our, make this podcast possible, really, because so often, you know, we watch something a long time ago and we have either no time to review it or no inclination to review it or some combination thereof. And it just makes it so nice when the recappers, you know, are very detailed, which in my experience, none of the other recap sites even hold a candle to what they do on Drama Beans.
So it just makes it so nice, especially if you're like looking, you're like you're trying to remember a certain thing about your men, like where is it exactly? That's so helpful. But I especially want to thank the recapper Solstices. And I'll talk more about why I want to thank that recapper in particular later on. But at this point, I'll just say thanks to all the people because I don't think they're getting paid for all the hours that they put in. And it is a lot of time when you think about like having to, you know, write this whole thing on top of the time that you spent watching the drama. So thanks, Drama Beans, people, beanies. Yes, because you really saved my week. Speaking of my week, well, it's been two weeks since we recorded. So Susie, what have you been watching since the last time we recorded two weeks ago?
**Susie** (4:28)
Okay, I actually, well, I do still mention Perfect Crown because it is like the thing I'm watching. But I did not watch last week's episodes and I haven't watched this week's episode and it's over. It's done. You can go in. Go in. Watch it.
If you're waiting, you can go in now.
So I have four episodes to binge, which I'm very looking forward to. I probably will be doing like right after we record. Because I've been waiting. Mercifully, I've not been spoiled too much about it. I have not been spoiled almost at all about this weekend's, the last two episodes, which is great. I was spoiled a little bit from last week's episodes. One is a thing that I had predicted and was like, okay, that's correct. Then another thing was a thing I didn't want to happen, but it did happen, so I was annoyed.
But I guess I'll check out what that's about. So Perfect Ground still was still great. The ending is great and everything is great. So hopefully, that is true. I will report back next time we talk.
