You've heard me talk about magnesium breakthrough from bioptimizers for years, and there's a reason I continue to recommend it.
I always want to feel confident about the products I tell you about on the show, and I appreciate how seriously bioptimizers takes the science. They've been studying minerals for more than 20 years. They have PhD scientists working in their own lab, and their process involves researching ingredients, sourcing them, testing them, and continuing to refine their formulas. Magnesium Breakthrough is a great example. Instead of using just one form of magnesium, they use seven, each selected for a reason. It's designed to support deeper rest at night, and a calmer, steadier day. And more than a million people have made it part of their routine. It's the magnesium I trust, and the one I recommend to my listeners. Go to bioptimizers.com/ifstories now, and use the promo code IFStories15 to get 15% off any order. Now, who's ready to hear an inspirational Intermittent Fasting Story? That's why we're here. So let's get excited to talk to today's guest.
Hi, everybody, and welcome to Episode 539 of Intermittent Fasting Stories. Today, I'm here with Denise Masalsky. Denise lives in Maine in the summer and Florida in the winter. She is a retired elementary school teacher. She taught in the classroom for 37 years. Then after she left the classroom, she did a variety of other teaching for a few years. Now, she is fully retired. Welcome, Denise.
Denise Masalsky (3:45)
Hi, how are you?
Gin Stephens (3:46)
Well, it is great to talk to you today. I always love to talk to retired teachers or current teachers or any kind of teachers or anybody because I just like to talk. But we did quite a bit of talking about teaching before we got going. But now I'm excited to talk to you about intermittent fasting. Can you tell me what brought you to intermittent fasting and when was that?
Denise Masalsky (4:07)
Yeah, so a lot of the dates don't make a lot of sense to me anymore because it was a lot. But I do know when I started. So I know that a friend mentioned to me that she was doing intermittent fasting. Well, she said she didn't eat until noon. And I said, okay. And then I said, but I'd be hungry. So I don't think I could do that. And I think that that was like spring of 2022
Gin Stephens (4:38)
Okay.
Denise Masalsky (4:40)
And then late that summer, I said, well, maybe that's not a bad thing. I think there was a thing on Facebook for do fasting or something.
Gin Stephens (4:51)
And I said, bless them. They're an app of some sort. And they have brought more people in fasting with their ads or their app. And the people find it and they're intrigued. And then they find their way to us in the clean fast.
