Hello, Lizards, and welcome back to another episode of Law and Order Special Viewing Unit, the show where we view, review, and lovingly ridicule everyone's favorite cop drama, I guess. Law and Order Special Victims Unit, every episode in a row from the beginning.
Aviv Rubinstein (0:18)
Fuck you, Season 19
Matthew Reuter (0:19)
This show has become unwatchable. I am your host. This might be the last episode because if it can it get worse?
SPEAKER_3 (0:29)
Apparently, according to people who have written it, it gets worse.
Matthew Reuter (0:35)
I am your host, Matt Reuter, joining me as always, as it turns out, the guy that sexually traffics me. What are the fucking odds? And the guy that refuses to come up with evidence of a crime is just pound in the table saying, no, that's the fucking guy. Fuck you. Stop asking me to do my job. Go fuck yourself. I know me not doing my job makes it that you can't do your job, but fuck you.
Do I have to lecture you on what I'm supposed to do as a police detective, which is not gather evidence to be able to be proven in court? No, it is just me. Fuck you, Stone. I hope your sister gets gunned down by the fucking Mexican cartel with another fucking boogie man. God damn it, I hate this timeline. That's Aviv Rubinstein over there. How are you doing tonight, Aviv?
Aviv Rubinstein (1:16)
You think I'm weak?
Scared? Stupid?
Matthew Reuter (1:24)
Is there an all of the above box? I can check.
Aviv Rubinstein (1:28)
How are you doing this week, Matt?
Matthew Reuter (1:31)
You know, man, this episode, I blissfully was able to forget that it's not a separate episode, it's a continuation of last week's episode. And then I sat down-
Aviv Rubinstein (1:46)
You had to remember what happened last week.
Matthew Reuter (1:48)
Because I saw on the, you know, when he pulled up on Hulu or whatever like that, I was like, oh, it looks like it's half, I was like, what the fuck, half watch? Oh, right, because it's a two parter that they did the thing with. And then it just started with Liv being like, I need a minute. And I was like, I'm going to need so many more than just a minute. I'm going to need many minutes to deal with this. And boy, was I right.
So, Aviv, if this ever happened to you, whenever you're getting food or things for Chubbs, do you use any of the online services?
Aviv Rubinstein (2:21)
Yeah, I'm a chewy guy. In fact, Chubbs' food got dropped off today.
Matthew Reuter (2:28)
Okay. So Maggie's food got dropped off today.
Not at this apartment though. It went to your old place, which is again, not that far from my current place. So I was like, son of a bitch. All right. And she's completely out of food at this point. So today was just like, all right, it was really coming down to the wire there.
Aviv Rubinstein (2:50)
Hoisted upon your own petard.
Matthew Reuter (2:52)
So I swing by the old place, don't see it on the front door. Fuck. Okay. Go around back to where our apartment was because it was the back unit. And there appears to be like a whole family living there now.
Like because there's a bunch of like kids toys and shit in the yard.
Aviv Rubinstein (3:08)
Mexicans.
Matthew Reuter (3:09)
Well, I should write.
So like if it was on the front porch, I would have like my landlord, my old landlord, I would have felt plenty comfortable just walking up, just grabbing it, getting it and then taking it back. Like that's that would have been fine. Now there's something about having to go to the back of the house through like the little alleyway in like where I used to live.
Aviv Rubinstein (3:33)
Clarice Starling.
Matthew Reuter (3:34)
Yeah, that I feel more like for whatever reason, that felt beyond the pale to me and I couldn't see it on there anyway. So I was like, I'm not going to knock on the door. Blake, did someone deliver a package that you brought in for some reason as opposed? I don't even know what you would do with it. If someone delivered a package that wasn't for me to my house, I guess you would turn to sender.
Aviv Rubinstein (3:54)
I would just leave it in the package room, I suppose.
Matthew Reuter (3:57)
Yeah. Oh, right. Because you're in the building. Yeah.
So that was really annoying. And now I'm like, well, I got to figure out what the hell I'm going to feed Maggie.
