And I'm like, oh no.

It's your money that you're lighting on fire by falling asleep. So, okay. Also, it's very loud from what you said.

But sure. Fair enough.
Allison writes, I wasn't planning to go to the Odyssey, but a friend wanted to go, so we did. Couldn't tell you what the aspect was. It was the one that was $25 freaking dollars. If that helps, I think it was called something like PDX or something like that, which my friend said.

**Aviv** (1:40)
You saw it in digital, but you saw it in a premium digital version, so it was probably switching between 1.9 to 1 and 2.4 to 1 aspect ratio.

**Matthew Reuter** (1:52)
So there you go. PDX or something like that, which my friend said was the premium version, and he thought it was worth it because the screen was bigger. I mean, given that I sometimes watch things on my phone, any screen in a movie theater seems pretty big, but sure.
So anyway, we get there and buy the $25 ticket for the premium version, and there's like 100 hours of previews, some of which I missed because I was in line getting a $7 bottle of water and a $12 package of M&Ms.

That's not the movie's fault, Allison.

**Matthew Reuter** (2:24)
Yeah, that's just the movie, that's just the cinema industry here, including other mommy, much like Aviv's friend. I also shrieked and jumped. I was super annoyed because I think they should warn people who are not there to see a horror movie that this is a preview for a horror movie.

I would have covered my eyes and probably ears until it was over. Had I known, I was much more a fan of the preview for the Sylvester Stallone movie, a movie about him, not a movie that he stars in.

**Aviv** (2:54)
Have you heard about doing a Sylvester Stallone biopic?

**Matthew Reuter** (2:57)
Yeah, yes.

But I heard the Bourdain biopic is actually really good.

**Matthew Reuter** (3:01)
I have heard that as well. I'm generally opposed to all biopics, so I...

**Aviv** (3:06)
Me too. But the guy who directed the Bourdain biopic also directed Blackberry, which I liked, and Nirvana, the show that banned the movie. And so I'm willing to give it a try. I'm cautiously optimistic for Tony.

**Matthew Reuter** (3:22)
Sure. In terms of the volume of the movie and the trailers, too, yes, it was really loud, but mostly there was a lot of bass because my chair vibrated a lot.
There was only one scene that was physically uncomfortable to listen to. I think it was the Troy Battle scene. But for the rest of the movie, well, I think we all know that the film.

**Aviv** (3:43)

**Matthew Reuter** (3:44)
That's the movie. The feeling of the bass more than the actual sound of it was crazy. And strangely enough, I fell asleep more than once. It was a strange combination of this is so loud, how can I possibly sleep through it? And the vibrations of the seat are lulling me to sleep like a baby being driven around in a car.
Also, you know how people say about a meeting that is long and boring? This could have been an email. Yes, we say that all the time on this podcast. I felt like a lot of the scenes in that movie could have been a conceptual email.
