Hello, listeners, and welcome back to another episode of Law and Order Special Viewing Unit, the show where we view, review, and lovingly ridicule everyone's favorite cop drama, Law and Order Special Victims Unit, every episode in a row from the beginning.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (0:16)
It's basically a hate watch at this point.

**Matthew Reuter** (0:19)
I mean, well, yeah, that's, that's, yeah. I am your host, Matt Reuter, joining me as always, the, I don't even know, who the fuck, the Brian Cassidy, I guess?

**Aviv Rubinstein** (0:31)
God damn it, again?

**Matthew Reuter** (0:32)
I mean, I don't, I mean, there's not a lot of, you could be the fidget spinner kid.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (0:36)
I'll be the fidget spinner kid.

**Matthew Reuter** (0:38)
Okay, the, the, the victim and murderer. There you go. You could be the fidget spinner kid. Remember fidget spinners, everyone? That's Aviv Rubenstein over there.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (0:46)
There. Remember Alf?

**Matthew Reuter** (0:48)
You're back in Pog form, exactly.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (0:50)
No, no, I need my Polquod, I need my Polquod. Throw it to me again.

**Matthew Reuter** (0:53)
How are you doing tonight, Aviv?

**Aviv Rubinstein** (0:55)
I know you're just doing your job, but it would be helpful if you were a little less of a bitch about it.

**Matthew Reuter** (1:02)
I mean, here's the rarity for this show, is that-

**Aviv Rubinstein** (1:07)
This episode is perfect. No notes.

**Matthew Reuter** (1:09)
Oh, right. Yes, that one entirely. No, it's that we finally, whenever we get some sort of a new character introduction to SVU, in this case, the new ADA Stone.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (1:21)
I thought you meant the new-

**Matthew Reuter** (1:23)
The homicide detective? Yeah. That lady? No, no, no. I'm referring to Stone being the- Well, I mean, her too.
Basically, finally, people who are exposed to SVU, who are not normally exposed to SVU, at least at the beginning, call out SVU for what they are. A pack of fucking morons and criminals.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (1:41)
And racists.

**Matthew Reuter** (1:42)
And racists. So, you know, whatever Stone says to Finn, it's like, oh, it's good to know that you're all criminals. And Finn isn't even like, no, we're not. He's just like, hey, hey, hey.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (1:53)
You'll get, you'll get used to it.

**Matthew Reuter** (1:55)
You know what, man? Just wait. That's all I'm going to say is just wait. You are going to be wrapped up in so many illegal things by working with this department. Just wait and see, Stone. Your hands will be, there will be blood on your hands by the end of the week.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (2:10)
I, it's also just incredible how it's no longer, it's no longer like a big deal that Olivia is like covering up a murderer. I have a very specific gripe about this episode that makes me absolutely outrageously angry.

**Matthew Reuter** (2:31)
Focus problems? No.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (2:34)
I suppose I could say it now because it's all over the episode. In the episode, Olivia is harboring a fugitive.

**Matthew Reuter** (2:40)
Yep.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (2:41)
And all evidence points to Brian Cassidy as the doer of this murder.
And Olivia and all of Olivia's subordinates are like, she truly believes that he didn't do it. And if she thought that he could have done it, she would have brought him in herself, right? It doesn't matter if she believes that he did it or not. She could be wrong.

**Matthew Reuter** (3:05)
Yes.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (3:05)
And no one ever allows for like, what if Olivia's wrong? They're just like, well, she's right.
We just have to wait till she's all the way right.

**Matthew Reuter** (3:14)
They also treat it like, you know, because even Liv says it where she's like, look, if I find out that you actually did it, then boy, am I going to do something about it. So it's like, okay, well, you're you're also aware that whenever someone, like until proven guilty in a court of law, everyone has the presumption of innocence. That's great.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (3:34)
Yeah.

**Matthew Reuter** (3:35)
That doesn't mean that you still don't arrest them. You gotta have them go to jail. Like, you gotta have Cassidy get arrested and then then you exonerate him. Then you do the investigation work to find out if he did it or not.
That's how investigating works.

**Aviv Rubinstein** (3:55)
Like I, I, I just, I just, I just, how's your week been, Matt?

**Matthew Reuter** (4:04)
So Aviv, it is, it's been a very good week. So I, if you will recall on this program, I mentioned, I don't recall much, well fair, I'd said however long ago how, you know, just like old will just come up and start talking.
