Jonathan Pokluda (0:47)
What's up, Instagram? I mean, not Instagram.
Podcast world.
Kathy Davidson (0:53)
To a great start.
Nate Hilgenkamp (0:54)
Was that on purpose?
Jonathan Pokluda (0:55)
No, it wasn't on purpose. Podcast world.
Nate Hilgenkamp (0:58)
Just a plug for his Instagram. If you don't already follow Jay Pokluda, go follow Jay Pokluda right now.
Jonathan Pokluda (1:03)
In all transparency, guys, I forgot to wear deodorant today.
Kathy Davidson (1:08)
Your whole day is off.
Jonathan Pokluda (1:10)
I'm just saying, like, something's not right, and I'm sitting here, and I'm like, man, what is going on?
Kathy Davidson (1:14)
I'm gonna move a little further away from you right now.
Jonathan Pokluda (1:16)
Are y'all deodorant and antiperspirant, or just deodorant?
Nate Hilgenkamp (1:19)
Man, so I could share something, but I feel like it's, like, too personal.
Kathy Davidson (1:24)
More personal than what he just shared?
Nate Hilgenkamp (1:26)
Well, one of them...
Jonathan Pokluda (1:27)
You're really a woman? I'm just saying, man.
Nate Hilgenkamp (1:33)
Everybody knows. One of them makes my armpits super itchy.
Jonathan Pokluda (1:37)
Oh, antiperspirant?
Nate Hilgenkamp (1:38)
Sure. Like, I don't know what the deal is.
Jonathan Pokluda (1:41)
I've had some that do that. Not all of them.
Nate Hilgenkamp (1:44)
So I will never, ever wear antiperspirant ever.
Jonathan Pokluda (1:47)
Not all of them do that, though.
Nate Hilgenkamp (1:48)
Okay. Was that too personal? I feel like that was too personal.
Kathy Davidson (1:50)
Here's the thing that I'm against is natural deodorant. Like, I don't care if you're kicking me from cancer. I don't care.
Like, do not think those work. They literally don't. You smell horrible.
Jonathan Pokluda (2:01)
It feels like there's, like, Play-Doh in my armpits.
Kathy Davidson (2:04)
And then you're sweating more.
Jonathan Pokluda (2:05)
I'm like, wait, what is it? Or no, or like my underarm hairs literally are sticking together or something, like matted together. Whatever's going on.
Nate Hilgenkamp (2:12)
What is natural deodorant?
Kathy Davidson (2:13)
It's like the hippies use it. It has all these natural ingredients.
Nate Hilgenkamp (2:16)
Whoa, throwing stones, guys.
Jonathan Pokluda (2:17)
We're gonna have to edit that out.
Kathy Davidson (2:18)
Good for you guys. Way to be, you know, care about your body.
Nate Hilgenkamp (2:20)
Austin, Texas, shout out.
Kathy Davidson (2:22)
I'm sorry.
I don't know, they like, it's all organic stuff. I don't know what. They don't put enough.
Nate Hilgenkamp (2:28)
Mint leaves.
Kathy Davidson (2:28)
That's all I have to say. You still smell bad.
Nate Hilgenkamp (2:30)
This is my hot take.
Jonathan Pokluda (2:31)
No aluminum.
Nate Hilgenkamp (2:32)
I'm gonna put mint leaves in my armpits. See if that works.
Jonathan Pokluda (2:34)
Man, we're gonna get some emails on this one, guys.
Because a lot of people feel strongly about natural deodorant. So today, we're talking about deodorants, guys. And so I know we hit on the biblical, Bible, theology, questions that Gen Z millennials are asking. But today, it's what kind of deodorant do you wear?
Nate Hilgenkamp (2:51)
JP, does Monica ever smell?
Jonathan Pokluda (2:54)
No.
Nate Hilgenkamp (2:54)
No? Is that why you dated her?
Jonathan Pokluda (2:56)
I mean, she smells good.
Nate Hilgenkamp (2:57)
She smells good? So today, we are gonna talk about Red Flags For Girls. So for guys, you're looking to date someone.
What are some Red Flags when you're looking at girls?
Jonathan Pokluda (3:08)
Number one, BO.
Kathy Davidson (3:09)
Yep, if she wears natural deodorant.
Nate Hilgenkamp (3:13)
We're gonna have some girls who are like, no, I actually have BO and bad breath, and they're terrified now.
Kathy Davidson (3:17)
Bad breath is a real issue, though. I would be out.
Jonathan Pokluda (3:20)
You know, they're all like, solvable problems. Yeah. That's what I would just say. There's hope for you.
Nate Hilgenkamp (3:24)
There's hope.
Jonathan Pokluda (3:25)
There is. I'm being serious, right?
Nate Hilgenkamp (3:28)
Totally, yeah.
Jonathan Pokluda (3:28)
If somebody's out there like really discouraged by that.
Kathy Davidson (3:30)
Yeah.
Jonathan Pokluda (3:30)
Hey, there are things you can do, man. We see you. We're so glad you're listening.
