I have to say that right out of the gate here, I was talking to Brendan MacDonald, the genius who runs the knobs here at WTF, the genius who does the tidying up of the mess that I am and the conversations I have. The genius that the entire sort of functional side of this racket, Brendan MacDonald has informed me that our numbers look good. The numbers look good. And I'm not, you know, I don't Google myself. I don't search me. I don't check algorithms or numbers related to me. And occasionally Brendan will say the numbers look good and not only good, but great. And I think that has something to do with the fact that we're with this, with Acast now, this new platform that has a international footprint. And I'm getting emails from a Belfast and the UK and from Australia. It just, it feels like there's an influx of the international crowd. And these people are coming into, you know, 800 episodes that they can just listen. They're right there.

Today on the show, I talked to Jerrod Carmichael. Now look, I talked to this guy back in 2015 If people want to go listen to that chat, you can. He had had some juice as a standup. But since then, as many of you probably know, he's been developing a lot of projects, including the first film he directed. It's called On The Count Of Three, and it's now streaming on Hulu. He also hosted SNL and released a new standup special directed by Bo Burnham called Rothaniel. And he's got Emmy nominations for both of those things. He also came out as gay.

No, he just looks like he woke up from a nap. Come on, Charlie Beans, talk to the people.

Anyway, this cat is looking great. Take him away, kid. Take Charlie Beans away. He didn't do it. He blew it. He choked.
We got to get him stage ready.
His mother is coming around still, but not as frequently. I don't know where the other five kittens are. Sadly, it's not my job. And I'll keep you abreast of that situation. But I believe this cat is going to be mine, though I'm nervous, not unlike a parent that, you know, is it time for another kitten in the house? Is it time? Am I going to have to move soon? Because I don't know if you know this, but they're going to start rationing water here soon in California. Apparently, we've got to cut back something like 15% to 25% water usage. And then in September, there's a good chunk of Los Angeles. We just cannot use, now he's talking, now we just can't use water for like two weeks because they got to repair something. That's what they're saying. I hope that's the truth. I don't know. I really don't know. All I know is that, is he going to talk? Come here, Charlie Beans. Hey, hey, Charlie Beans, Charlie Beans.
