Me and Mika were having a conversation before the podcast, in which I was accidentally being media illiterate. It was really embarrassing. I won't let it happen again. I single-handedly shortened her lifespan by one week with that blood pressure spike. Am I bad?

Because normally, when I watch a movie where there's a bad guy as the protagonist, I catch it. I get it. When I watch movies like The Joker, I know I'm not following the good guy. I usually get it, and I get it good. So this was an embarrassing incident for me.

So I'm currently only one earbud trying to podcast, and then my dear, lovely brother informs me that he didn't watch the whole media that I had asked him to watch. And then I felt in the moment, I know he didn't actually say it, but the moment I felt like he was implying I was a bad person for liking it.

Part of what we ran into with this was, I had shown it to Stevie during his Kratom era, and his opinion of it was so tainted by what he remembered.

Yeah, and that was unfair. And I didn't realize that was happening in the moment. I was like remembering gradually. So I'm happy that we were able to talk through it, because it does make me want to go back and finish watching it, because I do think that I would have plenty of things to say about it.
I will just have to, because we're going to watch it together. I'm going to have to resist saying too much of it in the actual call. I'll need to take notes so I can bring them up on the pod, so we can have pod talk about it.
