Episode 1052: Cerebras AI Chips Threaten Nvidia, MongoDB Could Hit $400, Gingko Bioworks Short

We got Micron later today, Micron. We're gonna do a big Micron preview, and then we're gonna catch it live. We're gonna get reactions from myself, Keith and others. We're gonna be trading the crap out of it too.

Moderna is getting smoked, very interesting. We'll put out some news, this is up a little bit. Podiac, now $97, woo. I guess I'm glad we got out after getting out it, you know, less, but what are we gonna do? It is a weird situation to say the least. The market's kind of in this backwards mode. There's data, drugs are getting bid, good drugs are often not getting bid. You know, obviously differences of opinion amongst a lot of people, but you know, we're in a market that's just a little bizarre. You know, we're in a market that's just, I don't think Capra has news. Intel Pump up 3%. Let's see if we're checking what's going on most here. Is Capra the most traded stock? How?

Not possible, that seems wrong. Let's take a look. I met the guys from Liquid last night, really cool platform. We're going to play with it today to a little degen trading.

Capra's traded 9 million shares. Intel's traded 9 million shares. So it does seem right. Nvidia's traded 7 All different stock prices, of course. On the gainers list, Capra core is up there 17%. Again, minimal market cap restriction changes that a bit, but still a decent gain. Losers, we are short one of these. Short came through today for us, but most trade is Micron ahead of earnings tonight. We've got Nvidia, Tesla, Meta rounding it out. Intel's hand disk, but yeah, Intel's star performer here up 3%. AMD alphabet, SpaceX alphabet. Again, Apple and here's Moderna, like I mentioned earlier, down 7%, heavy trading.

What's going on with Moderna? I actually have no clue. Is there news? Did somebody downgrade it? Check X, I have to do the X integration on Godel. This guy tweets, we will see 10 trillion market cap companies in our lifetime. I'm like, my man, we're gonna see them in like six months. Let's check Moderna. What are people saying? City downgrade, okay.

I think you fade most downgrades. I don't want to be long Moderna, but like, you know, I would, it seems like a fade. Downgrades never really stick. So do we dare go long? We dare. We don't own any.

Ginkgo is a really big shko. That's gonna be a good short. That's ticker DNA for anybody playing along at home. Yeah, we made a fortune on Moderna, but we didn't get out in time as our biggest short. Yeah, I think it's gonna kind of rally. I hate to say it, like, I feel like it's just too shorted and too squeezy and just like the mo is just so strong. Should have been long this all along, to be honest, even though it's the hardest thing to like know the company is overvalued and you buy it and bid it up anyway, just because, you know, that's where the direction of momentum is going. But that's what a trader's job is. I mean, that's your job.

Supposed to find the direction of the market and pile in to tag along, you know? Your opinion about the company's valuation doesn't fucking matter. What matters is what is the next guy gonna do? Now, it matters in the long run. In six months, it matters. If you're trying to move a $100 million, it matters, but if you're a normie, you don't have more than 10 mil, 5 mil, you're just trying to grind out some gains. Yeah, all that matters is what's the next man next to me gonna do in this market? Is he buying? Is he selling? And why? And let me get in his head and let me try to anticipate what he's gonna do. And that's it. And so, you know, did we get a little... Tried to short a little KOD. I forgot any... Oh, we did. Whist is just out of control as well. Better show some respect to Chris, man.
