Well, hello, you filthy animals, and welcome to another episode of The Working Perspectives Podcast Presents Beat the Bros. I'm Matt Lavelle, he's Bern Podcasy, that's Liam Reese, and that's some of the bitches, J-Dub, Justin Richardson. Tonight on the show, we got episode 601

We got a fun one tonight. First, we're gonna be guessing 10, at least 10 Cleveland Brown quarterbacks since the year 1999 There's been 41 of them, and we gotta guess 10 Then, we got a fictional character, we got 20 questions to guess from Bernad Podcasy, and then we're gonna end up with some news stories, we're gonna leave out some interesting facts, and then we're gonna hit you with the fun stuff. But before that, we gotta get to everyone's favorite segment. So let's do that. This is episode 601 of the Working Perspectives Podcast. Play the theme song.

All right, it's now time for Fresh Cakes. It's J-Dub's segment. Go ahead, J-Dub.

Justin Richardson (2:02)

Do you guys want to talk about decks? Or do you want to talk about how I pissed my pants recently?

What is that?

Bern Podcasy (2:07)

I wanna talk about decks.

Matt Lavelle (2:08)

I wanna know how you pissed your pants, boy!

Bern Podcasy (2:10)

I don't know, decks and decks can treat me like...

Matt Lavelle (2:13)

No, no, you're saying a deck like a deck you sit on, right? Like a back deck.

Bern Podcasy (2:17)

Yeah, but the fact that J-Dub has a strong deck opinion is what... It sounds boring, but I feel like there's something underneath it.

Matt Lavelle (2:26)

Bern, Bern, the deck opinion is still gonna be there.

Bern Podcasy (2:29)

Okay. So is poop.

Justin Richardson (2:31)

Poop's still a category. I just know Matt will.

Matt Lavelle (2:33)

I. You know, I hate that. You know I hate it.

Liam Reese (2:35)

I'm leaning towards deck. I don't necessarily need to hear about him pissing on himself, you know? Again.

Matt Lavelle (2:41)

Wow, I'm the only one who wants piss on, right? Deckers. No, no, J-Dub, talk about your impressive deck. OK, you got a nice big deck.

Bern Podcasy (2:49)

Big deck story.

Justin Richardson (2:50)

I want to talk how great fucking decks are. Above ground pool deck. Nasty good deck.

Bern Podcasy (2:56)

Incredible.

Justin Richardson (2:56)

Double double layer deck where like you walk out on the top and then below you have the ground level. But now you have coverage with sliding door deck.

Bern Podcasy (3:05)

Nasty. My uncle had one of those little staircase deck.

Justin Richardson (3:09)

Beach house, like triple layer deck.

Matt Lavelle (3:12)

Oh, what about a rooftop deck? Beach house rooftop deck.

Justin Richardson (3:17)

Come on. I haven't. I'm just getting warmed up. Wrap around deck on the outside of the house. Come on.

Come on. Deck is it's an underappreciated thing. You can do wood. You can do the plastic fake boards.

Matt Lavelle (3:35)

You can do stone. My mom's balcony at the old house. You guys remember that?

Justin Richardson (3:38)

Love a balcony.

Matt Lavelle (3:41)

You can really judge concrete.

Justin Richardson (3:43)

You stand up atop and a gaze upon the pores and the people in the fields.

Bern Podcasy (3:50)

And what is it? What is it?

Matt Lavelle (3:51)

What is the balcony?

Bern Podcasy (3:52)

If not a deck in waiting, you know what I mean? Yeah, the balcony is just like a, hey, get a taste of this. First one's great. You like this?

Guess what you like even more?

Matt Lavelle (4:02)

What is the difference between a balcony and a deck? I don't get it.

Liam Reese (4:05)

It's like the quadriplegic brother of a deck.

Matt Lavelle (4:09)

Right?

Bern Podcasy (4:09)

Yeah. I think a deck you can access from outside the house as well. Right? Would that be fair? Like there's stairs to get to a deck.

It might come off your kitchen, but there's probably some stairs and get there. A balcony, I think, is just off a room.

Matt Lavelle (4:22)

If you say so.

Bern Podcasy (4:23)

I don't think there's any external.

Justin Richardson (4:25)

I say made of wood. That's made of wood.

Matt Lavelle (4:28)

Sure. Yeah.

Now, they got their special decks where the boards stick to get, like they fit together when you install them, that's good stuff.

Bern Podcasy (4:38)

I'll tell you what, growing up, my uncle had the party house. The whole reason I'm a Notre Dame fan is just because as a kid, he had a great backyard, he had a pool. All the adults would watch Notre Dame and go out there in the backyard. They had a nice, low-grade hill, and you'd just play football with a bunch of kids that you only saw every Saturday and just fucking murder each other. And there were some meatballs inside the crock pot. It was the best day.
