Well, hey there, you filthy animals, and welcome to another episode of the Working Perspectives Podcast, presents Four Dads, Bye Dads. I'm Matt Lavelle, he's Bern Pocacy, and that old pickle bar is Liam Rees. Today is episode 578 of the Working Perspectives Podcast, and today, we'll be giving you another tier list. We've been killing these tier lists, but we're doing a little different. We're not ranking sitcom TV dads, we're ranking sitcom TV theme songs. That's right, we're going to go through a handful of songs, and we're going to let you know if they're S tier, which is the best, A tier, which is pretty darn good, B tier, which is good, C tier, which is eh, B tier, which is your mother, and F tier, which is your father. So we're going to go through these and let you know which one's best, and then you'll know, and good for you. All right, but before we can do that, we can play the theme song. So let's do that. All right, let's get started. Let's go.
All right. So today, fellas, we're going to do this and we're not going to dick around either. No dicking around today. If you like dicking around, this ain't for you. We ain't dicking. We're not dicking today. All right, this is what we got. So I'm going to pull up a song, and we're going to chat, and we're going to say where this thing lands. All right? I can throw it in. I'm going to throw it in, okay?
And then maybe try and dumb me down a little bit, all right?

**Bern** (2:32)
Okay.

**Liam** (2:33)
And these are random. There's a list that was randomly made up, and we're just pulling right from the list. So these are not our suggestions necessarily. We're pulling randomly from the list.

**Bern** (2:41)
Random. All right. I like it.

**Matt** (2:43)
But it's starting hot.

**Bern** (2:46)
Starting hot.

**Matt** (2:47)
Fellas, it's starting hot, and it's starting to ask, because you know what we're going with first? We're going with the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

**Bern** (2:56)
That's definitely S. That's unquestionable S.

**Matt** (2:58)
It's unquestionable S.

**Bern** (3:01)
I don't think that there's any argument to be made that it's not S.

**Matt** (3:04)
It's unquestionable S. I don't know if there's such a thing as unquestionable S, but if there is, it's the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

**Bern** (3:12)
Does anyone not know the words to that song?

**Matt** (3:15)
I mean, anyone in our room, I'm glad to hear that.

**Bern** (3:16)
Do you ever really meet people that don't know it?

**Liam** (3:19)
I would argue there are probably people out there who know the words to that song, who don't even realize it's a TV show.

**Matt** (3:24)
Right. I would agree.

**Liam** (3:25)
That's how big the song is.

**Bern** (3:26)
Yeah.

**Matt** (3:27)
Also, I think it holds the record for the most people singing the TV show theme song at one time because at Live 8, Will Smith had everybody singing it and it went nuts.

**Bern** (3:37)
That's awesome.

**Liam** (3:39)
Uncle Phil, S-tier, Fresh Prince theme song, S-tier, and both of those are open and shut cases as far as I'm concerned.

**SPEAKER_4** (3:47)
Yeah.

**Matt** (3:47)
When's the last time also the star of a show did the theme song?

**Liam** (3:53)
Doesn't happen very often.

**SPEAKER_4** (3:55)
Doesn't.

**Bern** (3:56)
I can't think of it. It probably happened after that, but I can't think of it. So it couldn't have been that memorable, right?

**Matt** (4:04)
No, and it's not. All right. Are we good with S-tier? Yeah.

**Bern** (4:07)
Absolutely.

**Matt** (4:08)
All right. Fresh Prince S-tier. Moving on. Next one. This is going to get a little controversy, but God do I love it. You love it. I love it. We all love it. Bern, I'm going to see where you land on this. I mean, I think it's overrated, so that's why.
Full House theme song.

**Bern** (4:29)
Oh, I think it's B as well.

**SPEAKER_5** (4:36)
Really?

**Matt** (4:37)
Yeah, it's B.

**SPEAKER_5** (4:38)
It's a recognition.

**Bern** (4:40)
Yeah, it's not, but it doesn't really get your juices going, dude.

**Matt** (4:45)
No.

**SPEAKER_4** (4:45)
Oh, yes, we know it, because you've seen the show a million times.

**Matt** (4:49)
I don't know.

**Bern** (4:50)
I mean, it's not, it's not. I just, I just, that's as high as I put it. That's all I can say.

**SPEAKER_5** (4:56)
Everywhere you look, there's a heart for you to come home to.

**Liam** (4:59)
Yeah, it's kind of.

**Bern** (5:00)
I don't know.

**Liam** (5:00)
I think it's an A tier song. You guys seem to like the B.
