How diddle-dee-doo! And welcome to the Working Perspectives Podcast, episode 568, Four Dads by Dads. Tonight, on the show, we're going over something fun, something adventurous, and for dads, ultimately dangerous. That's right, we're talking about going to water parks and amusement parks with your little bastard children. It's rough, it's tough, and only the strong survive, and we're gonna get through this thing together, as we always do. But I'm not alone. Tonight, I'm accompanied by the one and only Batman himself, Bandini Padalini Bern Podcastee, and the most handsome bastard with the stinkiest fingers in town, the one and only Liam Rees. So let's get into it. We're talking water parks and amusement parks, and how they've changed our lives forever.
Let's get started. Let's go!
All right, fellas, as always, we're knocking them dead here. A lot of fun tonight. We're talking water parks and amusement parks, three dads, three different points of view. All right, so let's get started. I'm going to start off here. We got to start with the pregame, as always. One thing I love that my wife does, she is the queen of the paperwork. And I'll tell you, I hate paperwork. I hate it. I don't just hate it, I despise it. But she's big on like ordering the tickets ahead of time, printing them out, having them ready to go, sending backup screenshots of everything, right? And being ready, like we have lunches packed, we have snacks packed, we have extra clothes packed, we have water packed. I'm like, all right, I'll carry all this heavy shit, just tell me where, just get it and I'll pack it and carry it to wherever you want. So it's fun as a team when you have someone who does all the, you know, the busy work, which I love. But Liam, I'm going to you.
Not only are you, you know, you got a preteen on your hand, but you're doing this solo-dolo, baby. Talk to me, is packing for too easy, but packing for an 11 year old is a minefield, like. Believe them, man.

**Liam** (2:13)
It's not horrible. Yeah, it's not horrible. I've never, I never print the tickets like you were saying. I never really do that.
But we usually, I have saved on my phone and stuff.
You're right. I'll take a couple of pictures as a backup in case the Apple Walls don't work or whatever. And a couple of times, I would, a couple of times when we're at Sesame Place, I've packed the lunch and then kept it in the cooler, and then go to the car for it and everything. But I mean, usually, there's two of us, so it's not, obviously, it's more expensive than regular times, but it's not that crazy with only two people. So I usually just, but a lot of times, we will leave the park to get because, because the park, most of the time, it is really disappointing, the food. So if you're spending, to me, if you're spending that much, they'll usually stamp your hand and let you back in. So you should just leave the park and get lunch somewhere outside the park, then just re-enter. So I don't really bring the lunch anymore. Because usually there's like a kick-ass sandwich shop or a diner or something. And it's good to check out online to see like, where are the spots?

**Matt** (3:28)
What's the local hotspot?

**Liam** (3:30)
Honestly, at this point, skip the fast food. It costs as much as anything else.
You can go to Mom and Pop now, and you're in generally a new area. So you might eat the best slice of pizza you've ever had before. Or you might get like, yo, this town has a sandwich you would never believe. You know what I mean? Stuff like that.

**Matt** (3:55)
One of the things I like to do is I reach out to the godfather of meat, fan of the show, friend of the show, former guest of the show, Mike Finnelli, who is a food influencer on Instagram. He's a friend of the show. And he'll tell you, like, we'll be like, I remember one time I was like, hey, we're down the shore in LBI.
He's and we were like, what's the pizza to get down here? We got to buy pizza for everybody. And he told us he's like, go to this place in this town. And we're like, done. And we went and they had one.

**Bern** (4:21)
Dude, that's so huge.

**Liam** (4:23)
I love that.

**Matt** (4:23)
That's such a huge guy. Dude, they had like, it was like a Clams Casino pizza. It was fucking slamming.

**Liam** (4:31)
