Hello, everyone.

Kris Zellner (0:15)

Now, welcome to Between The Sheets, episode number 563 I'm your host Kris Zellner, joined as always by my host David Bixenspan. And before we get into anything on this week's show, I do want to talk about last week's show. And the debut of the King of Old School, Steve Carino, won the show. And it was a tremendous show.

One of my favorites we've ever done. The reception online for the show has been really strong. We appreciate that. And yeah, Steve, Steve was fantastic. And I just can't wait to have him back on again.

David Bixenspan (0:52)

Indeed. Indeed.

SPEAKER_4 (0:54)

And remember, next time, don't be pussy. Yeah.

Kris Zellner (1:04)

Yeah, just tremendous, tremendous stuff. And I was so glad that people enjoyed it as much as we did. So, so yeah, so Steve will be back soon, soon and later.

Yes. Yes.

David Bixenspan (1:19)

Did you see how much that part popped, Erich Stevens?

Kris Zellner (1:23)

Yeah. Yeah. Joe Gagney isolated it and put it out there on social media.

And Stevens, you know, popped for it and there's other people that really enjoyed it. And the other stuff too, you know, that Steve was the stories he told and stuff. Ox Baker, you got the video of it.

David Bixenspan (1:41)

Yes.

Yeah, someone in the Discord looked it up. Look, I'm not expecting a match from a Carmine Savia show at Medieval Times in 2002 to be on YouTube.

Kris Zellner (1:53)

And it was. You just never know.

You just never know anymore what might be online.

David Bixenspan (1:58)

Yes.

So Steve, of course, goes down for the heart punch like he's been shot. The actual best part, though, is that Scott Steiner starts to go after Ox.

Kris Zellner (2:09)

Yeah.

David Bixenspan (2:11)

And you can see Steve start to see it happening out of the corner of his eye and just look absolutely terrified as to what Scott, he might do to this poor old man.

Kris Zellner (2:21)

Yeah.

David Bixenspan (2:23)

This poor old man, who's only a few months older at the time than Sting is now.

Kris Zellner (2:27)

People were aged differently back then, yes.

David Bixenspan (2:30)

Yes.

Kris Zellner (2:32)

But anyway, all right. So we got Patreon show to talk about as well. patreon.com/between The Sheets and part seven.

David Bixenspan (2:43)

Yeah.

Kris Zellner (2:44)

Part seven of our, I guess part seven. Yeah. Part seven of our look at 20 years back of WWECW.

And this is quite the show. As we get it to the Hammerstein Ballroom show that they did.

David Bixenspan (2:59)

The Hammerstein Ballroom TV, the EETW on Sci-Fi episode.

Kris Zellner (3:04)

But yes. Yes.

And so we get into that.

David Bixenspan (3:10)

And well, how about what we discovered when we, hold up the video of Big Show and Batista?

Kris Zellner (3:18)

Well, that's what we're going to get into. I mean, we get into the whole, you know, Big Show, Batista, you know, debacle. And in the process of that, we find out that the WNetwork had footage on there from during the break where Big Show went on a tirade to the, I guess, the fans who were yelling at him out there, you know, telling them to go fuck themselves.

David Bixenspan (3:48)

No, the line to the one fan that was the best was, this was not in the house, Mike, this was face to face, was, I fucked women bigger than you.

Kris Zellner (3:57)

Yeah, yeah, so we, we had that and the CM Punk debut was on that show. You know, the TV debut.

David Bixenspan (4:07)

The James Beard wrestling classics post drama.

Kris Zellner (4:10)

Yeah, James Beard telling stories about, you know, what was going on.

David Bixenspan (4:14)

With his tryout, yeah.

Kris Zellner (4:16)

The whole complete insanity of the dark match between CW Anderson and Shannon Moore.

David Bixenspan (4:20)

You mean Christopher W. Anderson?

Kris Zellner (4:23)

Yes, Steve Carino's buddy, Christopher W. Anderson.

David Bixenspan (4:26)

Yes.

Kris Zellner (4:27)

Also, you know, besides that, we get into Francine and we've took us some audio with Francine, talked about her experiences in WWFWCW. And it was definitely not good for her. And talks about the culture back then regarding the women in the company that she had heard and seen with her own eyes regarding how to get over with Vince McMahon.

And then we got that. We got Kurt Angle coming back from his suspension, Rob Van Dam, back from his suspension and won the all-time worst matches ever.

SPEAKER_1 (5:04)

The latter match with Sabu.
