Hello, everyone, and welcome to Between The Sheets, episode number 536, or as we want to call it this week, our Christmas show for 2025 I'm your host, Kris Zellner, joined as always with my co-host, David Bixenspan. But anyway, yes, our new Patreon show that we got out for the week is our look back at the World Wrestling Federation's battle with Viewer's Choice et al in late 89, early 90 over pay-per-views and it got pretty heated, even making it to the airwaves where they vented their frustrations out on television over these issues and almost cost WrestleMania being on pay-per-view for some people.

Yes, and this also leads to arguing back and forth between WWF and cable companies and the pages of broadcasting magazine as well. So, yeah, we had talked about this on the Leonard Delon show because there were some things that kind of predicted it on there. So we realized, you know what, that this makes perfect sense to do as a follow up. So that's the latest show that's going to be out by the time you hear this. We have not recorded it yet. And then, you know, the latest thing we've recorded, Patreon-wise, as of this recording, is finishing up our two-parter on the release of the WWE Rise and Fall of ECW DVD from 21 years ago.

Well, there is that. I mean, the Blue Jays almost won the World Series.

I was so freaking mad at that because I was so hard for them. You know, all my Canadian friends and everything, the Dodgers, which, you know, it is what it is. I got a lot of people I like on the team, but still, I didn't win in the win, but yeah, that was a heartbreaker, so to speak.

**Robert O'Connor** (4:42)
Let's not talk about that.

But you got Dylan Cease now, so.
