Lacy, Janelle, welcome back. Another episode of Expanded. How are you guys doing?

I'm doing great. I had the most nourishing, restorative summer. So I took a really much needed long sabbatical. I've never done that before. It was so nourishing, you guys. And I had so much fun. And I didn't realize, I was last night before, when I was thinking about this podcast today, I was like, what have I been manifesting? And I was like, fun. I've been manifesting fun.

I loved it. It was so fun. It blew wind into my sails, getting out there and doing that. It just, it's what you're saying. It was just fun. And as we move into the refinement area, which we'll talk about more in another podcast, but it does feel like that's the universe. It's like, everyone, drop the shit. Drop the pretense. Drop all those shiny things you've thought you've needed to be loved. Even when you've been like, no, they're authentic. The new layers are coming. And the universe is just like, hey, follow, follow the road. And that's what we're going to talk about today is really the universe's road for people are pings and expanders. So that's really what that did for me. It was just like, yeah, this is so nice to just have fun and just be not serious.

Yeah, exactly.

Okay, so expanders and pings. These are terms, Lacy, that you've clocked, you've brought into the zeitgeist. I cannot go anywhere with seeing the word expanders, expanded, expand, expand, expand. It's all over the place.

This concept really is so rooted in neuroscience. I remember when Dr. Tara came in, it was like, yeah, the Roger Bannister story of the four-minute mile. No one could pass the four-minute mile until Roger Bannister did. Once he did, they were doing it in droves and droves and droves. And it's really such a powerful thing. When you come to think about your goals, your manifestations, what you want to call in, having those aha moments of like, whoa, if they have it, it's possible for me to end reframing to a lens of expansion of openness, to even look at the world that way, to stop looking at people like, oh, if they have it, it means I can't, you know, that envy jealousy dynamic. Like if they have it, the universe is actually saying, hey, there's something about this that your soul is going to step into. We need you to wake up and pay attention. So talk a little bit about EXPANDERS for anyone who's brand new, their friends sent this, listening to the first time.

Yeah, you know, honestly, where it came from, to be really frank, was my years and years of doing Spiritual Bypass Manifestation. Man, it's so funny. I had a nail woman come over and do my nails before the event, which I haven't done in like two or three years, like since Gus, since our, you know, speaking to her ages ago, not last year. And she was so funny. She didn't know who I was or anything. And, you know, she was lovely. And she was just like going on and on about all these spiritual things she's doing, namely manifestation. And she named off a lot of new manifestation things I've never heard of. But they were all the same shit still.

She was like, yeah, you know, I've just been listening to this thing as my as I drive here and I'm just like really envisioning the person I'm going to be and who I'm going to be. And I'm sitting there and I'm like, okay. I couldn't hold my tongue because I can see like, and she was like, I was, you know, and you're putting in all the work, you're putting in all this effort, honestly, exhaustion to get very little back.

And you know, like her, like me, she's been doing it for years and she's still, she's like, I can't get away from nails. I'm still doing nails, but I know I'm supposed to be doing this thing. And I'm like, oh, well, let me, let me speed this up for you.

And so I walked her through. And so one thing, for instance, she was focusing on, and this will be really helpful for somebody new, totally tuning in her thing. I was like, give me one subject you're calling it, like you're manifesting. I just want to hear it. And she was like, I just want spaciousness. And I've never had it in my life. You know, she was a single mom, young, came from like the wrong side of the streets and all this stuff. And she like where she is versus where she's come from is remarkable. And I felt the same way about my upbringing as well. And she was like, I just want a little space where I don't worry about paying bills or money or this or being responsible. And I can just be in my spiritual self. And I was like, awesome. Have you ever seen anybody who has a career like you or anything like your lifestyle who has that? She was like, well, kind of only like women who have married for money and they don't have to worry about it or blah, blah, blah. I was like, but anybody, just like what you're wanting, it doesn't even have to be the full thing. Those are kind of fragments. But just like your subconscious mind is sitting there saying, well, yeah, they can because they married for money and I don't want that. Right. So it's not totally even a fragment expander, which I will explain to you newbies in just a minute more.
