When a young man kills himself, it leaves a community mourning, and another community cheering out loud. And then we take a look at the story of a young man who rents an apartment, but little does he know, this apartment will drive a man mad. Today on Dead Rabbit Radio.
I'm your host, Jason Garbender, I'm havin a great day. I hope you guys are havin a great day too. I hope you guys are havin tons of fun. Doin whatever you're doin. We got a ton of stuff to cover today, so first off, running into Dead Rabbit Radio Command. Everyone get on your feet, and give it up for one of our Legacy Patreon supporters, Video Weegee.
Thank you. If you're doomed, you're like, oh, this is, this is the best death message ever. That actually sounds kinda dope. I mean, I don't use Ouija boards personally.
going to be able to stand on one, they're like, sir, sir, the planchette has a weight limit, I'm breaking the glass. A bunch of demons are flying out and attacking everybody. But if they, you'd have to make the planchette be able to hold 300 pounds. But wouldn't that be awesome? Maybe you lay down on it. No, Jason, this is the worst idea ever. Just more giant demons are going to come out than just normal human-sized demons. Imagine a giant Ouija board that, you know, it doesn't even have to like technically work. It could be, what's the word, like, mechanized. So you have like a guy with a control of the drone, it's all moving super slow. As I'm on it, he's like, yeah, the weight limit is 300 pounds. But it doesn't mean that it's going to move smoothly. It's all grinding into the board. Just means the glass won't break. But someone's controlling it in a booth. So you're not actually talking to demons. It'd be like a ride, an Ouija ride. Dude, you know what? That actually would be a huge hit. That would be massive. But the problem is, you wouldn't know if it left any messages. You'd have to be like 30 feet up. Hey, friends, friends, stand on the nearby building and tell me what it's saying. They're like, it's saying, you're going to die. You're going to die.
Video Ouija is a long time supporter of the show, a long time Patreon member, and that is why they are going to be our captain, our pilot this episode. If you guys can't support the show through the Patreon, the merch store or any sort of financial way, it's totally fine. It really is. It just helps to read the word about Dead Rabbit Radio. That helps out so much. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell everyone you know. Dead Rabbit Radio is your favorite paranormal show. That is how you can help the show grow. Okay, Video Ouija, let's go ahead and get started. I'm going to go ahead and toss you a steam. Oh, this is a bad choice for this story, but it's kind of a sad story. I'm going to go ahead and toss you the shovel. It just popped in my head to use this one, but it's fitting. I'm going to go ahead and toss you a steam shovel. Everyone climb on board the Carpenter Caboose as Video-Weechee chug chug chugs us out of Dead Rabbit Radio Command all the way out to Illinois. Chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga chugga. Choo choo!
Nice leisurely ride out to Illinois. Specifically, we're headed to Bloomington, Illinois, and we are at a funeral.
We show up at this guy's funeral. We see there's not a lot of people there. Family members, a friend or two.
I don't know how many people actually showed up to this guy's funeral, but I'm setting a scene. We're at the funeral, and you're like, Jason, this is just in bad taste. It's in bad taste. I mean, listen, if you want to cover this story, cover this story, don't create this scene. We walk into this funeral home. This is all, I don't know if this is how the funeral room was, but we walk into the funeral home, and we see like a coffin in the front of it, and we're walking by, and we see like it's train themed. Can you have themed funerals? I was like, oh, I want a Care Bear funeral. I want to be buried in lots of love bear.
I don't know if they have themed funerals. I'm sure they do for children, if that's not depressing enough. But all the chairs are train, like made after model trains. They're super small. No, like the chairs, instead of regular folding chairs, they're cabooses, and the coffin is actually a giant steam engine.
